Yes, I'm doing great!! In February I started a new job and truly enjoy it! I'm trying to find a balance with home and work, and didn't have much luck the past two weeks! From the little things that had to be done, work, and a few unexpected weekend ventures it's been busy. But, who isn't! So I'm alive and kicking! All is well and Saturday evening I finally STAMPED!!! This weekend I worked at a Woman's Expo which was so much FUN! Lots of great ladies I met and just seeing faces from the area. Our local health system sponsored it and we had many fabulous vendors on hand. Plus the lunch was YUM-O! (Choice of 4 kinds of salads, water and a nutrition bar!) Right up my alley... Tonight I have 2 cards to share from <a style="color: rgb(153, 153, 0);" href="http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/julietonsager/">Julie's SU! card class</a>. The first card is using the SU! Vintage Vogue and Very Vintage jumbo wheel in the mini catalog. Close to Cocoa, Blush Bloom CS and punches for the sentiment. I added the mini white pearls. </span><br /><a style="font-family: verdana; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsgQxIUaXiGwrvJ_hB-xEA7eyQFeyI_lAe3D-FQ91fjvaSc3NrxYeSu2zpxgKqx7la54lWEViXkbToaFGUlIMPh9dHnQJQ97vI9Mnxx3c0GpqbotE42lHH65O0p9wF05j1UtjBH9D4YGeH/s1600-h/2-18-10.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 431px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsgQxIUaXiGwrvJ_hB-xEA7eyQFeyI_lAe3D-FQ91fjvaSc3NrxYeSu2zpxgKqx7la54lWEViXkbToaFGUlIMPh9dHnQJQ97vI9Mnxx3c0GpqbotE42lHH65O0p9wF05j1UtjBH9D4YGeH/s800/2-18-10.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5439768009552082146" border="0" /></a><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);font-family:verdana;" >The second card is using the technique "Stamping with Sweetened Condensed Milk" which was in the latest Stamp It Magazine! O'boy... by the time the group was done embossing the place smelled like a candy factory! (warm caramel smell) Such an easy way to give a unique effect to any card... and vintage! You stamp your image with sweetened condensed milk, sprinkle a "PINCH" of embossing powder over image and heat emboss! The sugar is what turns brown and the embossing powder adds more image details... The set we used is a NEW SU! set coming out in the next mini catalog for spring. </span><br /><a style="font-family: verdana; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNsXdc9cuhs1Wb3N4xE9O3VBK2OgPPRUtD1PGyDhyphenhyphen5Vh2-YUU2tlW2q6mS1LMyV7v_hG-yiM5vj9cyDak_ahMcwkq-4yhmXFE2cs-u3nAGWKvdQXgPbpHf5pQHc7gTB1Tjey7TNEpjrUj8/s1600-h/2-18-10+%282%29.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 432px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNsXdc9cuhs1Wb3N4xE9O3VBK2OgPPRUtD1PGyDhyphenhyphen5Vh2-YUU2tlW2q6mS1LMyV7v_hG-yiM5vj9cyDak_ahMcwkq-4yhmXFE2cs-u3nAGWKvdQXgPbpHf5pQHc7gTB1Tjey7TNEpjrUj8/s800/2-18-10+%282%29.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5439768003398193106" border="0" /></a><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);font-family:verdana;" >Enjoy!! Butterfly Embosslits... those MINI butterflies are SOOOO cute! I sponged the edge of the punched flower for more depth.</span><br /><a style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: verdana;" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZUJ6bIk-_ic9WgRQf5PiJKc8CJmA94_AqCPaUfa68EN9Aal2eSArQKzw4AEQtH_IoidBBG8tXwqeLsnqY_oVeeTqlu0yzCKUx8YenwyLVxXm8W0AyGmejPbJfRcFujitLZ-fNGdWGWmul/s1600-h/1-29-10.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 412px; height: 500px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZUJ6bIk-_ic9WgRQf5PiJKc8CJmA94_AqCPaUfa68EN9Aal2eSArQKzw4AEQtH_IoidBBG8tXwqeLsnqY_oVeeTqlu0yzCKUx8YenwyLVxXm8W0AyGmejPbJfRcFujitLZ-fNGdWGWmul/s800/1-29-10.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5432156846132592386" border="0" /></a><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);font-family:verdana;" >We may have a warm up this weekend! Sorry for the "Long Time NO Post Situation!" Life can get in the way I guess... LOL! I pulled out my SU! A Little Birdie Told Me set and SU! retired DP Delicate Dots. I did some doodling around the white panel, paper pieced the birdie and umbrella, stitched around the outer edge (should have used a longer stitch... would look better!) and added some paper piercing. I chose the <a style="color: rgb(153, 0, 0);" href="http://www.unitystampco.com/stamps?search=retro+bubble+frame">Retro Bubble Frame</a>... you can double stamp it and create two layers... with or without the circles on each side. It is a bit of hand cutting, but VERY GORGEOUS!! This is the frame around the angel which is from SU! (Retired set!)</span><br /><a style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: verdana;" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9it3_6eV6dfTW3ItGjeXXejRK78cP0MwXOo9lDB_h3wEMyT7l36XHwmgkY_vc_iHJQRdHEltMlnNMOOffz7XlmA6fql-D-1AGNGVXLAY-I58-U-CNlpURX4Dv6f_DkrOTq8cLkGrycGEk/s1600-h/1-4-10+%282%29.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 390px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9it3_6eV6dfTW3ItGjeXXejRK78cP0MwXOo9lDB_h3wEMyT7l36XHwmgkY_vc_iHJQRdHEltMlnNMOOffz7XlmA6fql-D-1AGNGVXLAY-I58-U-CNlpURX4Dv6f_DkrOTq8cLkGrycGEk/s400/1-4-10+%282%29.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5424178384046158610" border="0" /></a><br /><a style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: verdana;" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhywgi6L5DiQ5nEI7fv2o5pxGAoR12oeXTzjHTSO8GOXxJjOw7x4HlmabgwUUh_YguyzftHf6byEO_TkZrWhC6RN-Fj_q8LbqCNBRjsKeBxgGclhkiNN7HUKQV_pftGWppXXKImy1V77Q7J/s1600-h/1-4-10.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 280px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhywgi6L5DiQ5nEI7fv2o5pxGAoR12oeXTzjHTSO8GOXxJjOw7x4HlmabgwUUh_YguyzftHf6byEO_TkZrWhC6RN-Fj_q8LbqCNBRjsKeBxgGclhkiNN7HUKQV_pftGWppXXKImy1V77Q7J/s400/1-4-10.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5424178373864032498" border="0" /></a><br /><a style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: verdana;" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhazTArN6VRDl_8cn42iYh7HdtId7LIbW9nhyphenhyphenND9GmjN3Lb3NeenoO5PR2sEDUnkEetWqD5zbSQAmu0FXU9-neoj-FUkU-mwXCmA0QwJZAFaYeF5Ddg37NEY4e6Sgfog0coMSOKqAXePYoA/s1600-h/1-4-10+%283%29.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 317px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhazTArN6VRDl_8cn42iYh7HdtId7LIbW9nhyphenhyphenND9GmjN3Lb3NeenoO5PR2sEDUnkEetWqD5zbSQAmu0FXU9-neoj-FUkU-mwXCmA0QwJZAFaYeF5Ddg37NEY4e6Sgfog0coMSOKqAXePYoA/s400/1-4-10+%283%29.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5424178366077920258" border="0" /></a><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);font-family:verdana;" >Click on the photos for a closer look! I did add sparkles around the red frame, sponged the edges to give an aged look, added gold 1/2 pearls, Stickles on the Angels wings... and even cut the wings for a 3-D effect. She's flying off the card!! Have a super evening... keep warm... and enjoy your weekend! It's coming quick... and I have a few Valentine's Day cards I want to start.
