More to share... ENJOY!

Morning! I have more to share... :) The first card, I made two versions using different ribbon treatments. Has lots of color! Hope your weekend is going well. It was raining on and off Saturday afternoon , so that meant some stamping time! See what I come up with... ha!

ETA: Here are the directions I received from Julie's class for the Slit Punch Border. Draw a line 3/8" in on cardstock. Start punching with the slit punch, lining up the flat side of the circle on the line. Punch side by side, but not overlapping. Once you have punched all along the edge. Fold back. Now insert a different color paper strip, and you have 2 tone colored circles.

Enjoy! I'm setting up another post for Monday. Hope your day is going well and thanks for the visit.... SMILES!

July cards to share!!!

Hi everyone!!!! Don't be shocked it's me... how has your summer been? It's hard to believe it's half over and seeing school supplies in the stores already. I have a few cards to share with you that I made "on the fly" for special occasions and from the SU! card classes I attend each month.

This last card is the cutest! You can imaging the conversations we girls had when making this card at class!! That is what warms my heart... having time with stamping friends. :) I have 2 more posts lined up to follow. Thanks for stopping in and I know it has been a while.

Just me again!!

Hi everyone! Did you have a great Memorial Day weekend? Sure went fast, but I enjoyed the time we had and the yard work we accomplished! The weather for both Sunday and Monday was very nice. Tonight I have a few more cards to share with you.
My first card was a CASE from Lynn Put at The Queen's Scene this was the first time I used my SU! butterfly punch.
The 2nd card was from Julie's card class and we had so much FUN using the SU! punches to create this cutie!! I added the embossed background with some sponging on the high spots.

The last card is a spin on a few card ideas out of the new Paper Crafts "Card Creations" magazine. Using punches and scraps of DP's... always nice using those little pieces up. :) Enjoy your evening! Thanks SO much for visiting and all the sweet comments... now I'm off to blog hop... see you in a bit! :)

Love the clean lines... :) The 2nd card was a layout I followed from Lynn Put at The Queen's Scene... She is so creative... and I enjoy butterflies! The Mother's Day card was made at Julie's Card Class. We used the SU! Two Step Bird punch to create the flower bud! We punched 3 wings for each flower. How clever... :) My last card is also from Julie's class... Fun DP's!! I decided to give my card this ribbon treatment... popular lately! I hope you enjoy and thanks for popping in.... your so kind!

Time to Share!!! :)

Hi everyone! Yes, I'm alive!!! :) Life sure can get busy, but that is what makes us strong and patient! I had many requests to share my cards from friends, bloggers and club gals that I thought it was time to share... finally! Some of these cards have been mailed or hand delivered, but I did take photo's!! Smart thinking... right! Ha :)
I love this color mix and DP... the square scallop edge I used my scissors to match up the comers! Not to bad a job I might say... :)
Fun layout and I enjoy the Cupcake theme going on!! The ribbon and pearls were the perfect touch to this card... :)

My 3rd card was from Julie's Card Club... what fun! I enjoy the SU! embossed BG... I sponged the high spots with Close to Cocoa to make the image pop!
Enjoy!! I had a great time at my retreat weekend the end of April and at Julie's classes. I have more to share and will post another bundle of cards soon... I hope you are enjoying your spring! We sure had some HOT temps this week... to fast for me! I like to ease into hot summer weather... LOL!

Keep stamping and many SMILES... Michelle :)

Happy Friday! :)

Morning! Yes, don't fall off your chair... I'm posting on a Friday AM! :) I just had to share this cutie! I love the black, white and pink colors together. The sets used are SU! Sincere Salutations and retired Sale-a-Bration set Yummy. I added Stitching around my DP's which are from Doodlebug Design. The butterfly is from SU! which is my "NEW and MOST LOVED" die... very much enjoying it! For the final touch I adding silver 1/2 pearls from Michael's.
Any big weekend plans? For me, it will be catching up since we have been running the past couple of weekends and to enjoy time in my "Craft Cave" to get creative! Thanks for the visit and so appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy day to you!

Happy Spring!!!

Hi Everyone!!!! Sorry for the long span on not posting... and for the kind e-mails to see if I'm OK. Yes, I'm doing great!! In February I started a new job and truly enjoy it! I'm trying to find a balance with home and work, and didn't have much luck the past two weeks! From the little things that had to be done, work, and a few unexpected weekend ventures it's been busy. But, who isn't! So I'm alive and kicking! All is well and Saturday evening I finally STAMPED!!! (I told my hubby if there is no emergency "I'll be LOCKED in my craft cave!!"... ha!)
Now the card... with spring staring this weekend, I figured a butterfly card would be perfect. I received my SU! Beautiful Butterflies die a few weeks ago and it was screaming for some LOVE! With picking out my DP's first I worked my colors and layout from that point. SU! River Rock, Real Red and Whisper White choice of colors, Swiss Dots embossing, sentiment is by Stampendous and DP's by Cosmo Cricket and Pebbles Inc. The cluster of buttons was a fun add-on!!

I plan to keep posting a couple times a week, but time will tell! I have lots of comments to follow-up on and I promise I will!! You are my inspiration... SMILES!

Celebrate YOU!!!

Happy Saturday everyone!! Well, spring is on my mind and this is what I came up with today. I decided to use butterflies, SU! "Springy" colors, and I made a knot in the ribbon for something different! The layout I followed is on page 64 in the new "Stamp It" magazine. I changed it up a bit, and LOVE the cards in this years issue! I hope you enjoy... :)
Yes, I did a bit of sewing on my card! I had to do it twice as the first time it was BAD... need I say more? Ha... Any big weekend plans? I'm catching up around the house, and hubby is enjoying the outdoors. I'm getting into the spring cleaning mode, and plan to venture on cleaning our bedroom closets... major overhaul and long over due! Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping in!!

BIG Smiles...

Thinking of you!

Hi everyone!! Well, today I have a card to share using a simple scrap of DP I found, adding ribbon/button, then decided to stamp swirls with a sentiment for a finishing touch. This card came together very well with the "Scraps" I had laying around my craft room... it's amazing what you can find... right!?? :) The white stripe in the ribbon really adds to this card!

I also relieved a RAK (random act of kindness) in the mail a while back and decided to share this beauty made by Allison from Stampin' When I Can!!! She is such a sweet heart and I always enjoy visiting her blog. Don't you love how well the DP's work together... and the ribbon/button treatment! We're watching the Olympic US and Canada hockey game and just taking it easy this afternoon. LOVE lazy Sunday afternoons... and the sun is shinning so brightly. It's melting too! Thanks for stopping in and have a wonderful week!!
