Thinking of you!

Hi everyone!! Well, today I have a card to share using a simple scrap of DP I found, adding ribbon/button, then decided to stamp swirls with a sentiment for a finishing touch. This card came together very well with the "Scraps" I had laying around my craft room... it's amazing what you can find... right!?? :) The white stripe in the ribbon really adds to this card!


I also relieved a RAK (random act of kindness) in the mail a while back and decided to share this beauty made by Allison from Stampin' When I Can!!! She is such a sweet heart and I always enjoy visiting her blog. Don't you love how well the DP's work together... and the ribbon/button treatment! We're watching the Olympic US and Canada hockey game and just taking it easy this afternoon. LOVE lazy Sunday afternoons... and the sun is shinning so brightly. It's melting too! Christmas RAK's to share... :)

Hi everyone!! A few Christmas cards RAK's I received and what to share with you... each one I just adore and warmed my heart... :) I'm very blessed!! It's very exciting getting to know such sweet blogging friends over the year...

Live with Passion... and RAK!

Well, I must confess... this card I have been working on since this morning with LOTS of interruptions! All intentions to post this morning and here I am now... better late than never I guess! :)

I had this layout in my head and this past week I received my Razzleberry Lemonade DSP and Melon Mambo paper and ink pad. So I had to play with my NEW toys... *wink*! The DSP does the work for you on this card and I just added the butterflies, sentiment and yellow gingham brad. I jazzed up the butterflies with rhinestones and wire.

The photo shows my yellow pretty bright. I used Summer Sun as I don't have all the in-colors. But it looks nice IRL!!

Now Lisa who is such a "sweet heart" from The Craft's Meow, mailed me this amazing RAK (Random Act of Kindness) along with "2 stamps" from her big "Grand Prize" winnings from The Greeting Farm and Club Anya !! I was on Cloud 9 when I opened the package and seen what was inside. Thanks SO much Lisa for sharing your winnings and I can't wait to make a card using these CUTE images!! She always takes good care of me!! :)

I'm back... with TWO cards!!

Did you miss me? Sorry for having such a long absence... we had an unexpected funeral today so when we came home later this afternoon I knew I had to get in to my craft room. Also last night I posting 15 more items on eBay and didn't have much time to stamp.

My first thought for this card was to use buttons for the flowers, but realized I didn't have any colors of my DP. So I found my flower rhinestones and took a shot at putting this layout together. Being I've been in the fall mode I wanted to use more spring and summer colors to mix it up a bit!!

The second card is from Lisa at The Craft's Meow who started this FANTASTIC challenge called.... Challenge for a Sunday Afternoon!! I played along and WON the prize for that week.... she was so nice to give me the card she made for her
challenge which was to use any items you have on your craft table that can be added to your card! Isn't Lisa's card just darling? I LOVE the lace and bright red!! Pop in for a visit and check out her challenges... she has Mr. Linky so we can all share!! :)

Morning! Happy mail to share with you... I received this RAK from Lisa... a dear friend of mine in blog land!! We became friends not long after I started blogging last October. She has such beautiful creative talent that will knock your socks off! I so enjoy visiting her blog The Craft's Meow . Pop in for a visit... more stunning "eye candy"!! This card is GORGEOUS!!

My camera couldn't capture the Tempting Turquoise color, even after editing I still couldn't get a close match. Also the damask background is embossed with VarsaMark Dazzle in Champagne... such a beautiful effect! Sparkles... :) Thanks for stopping in for a visit and enjoy your day... RAK... O'soooo cute!

Morning! I have a RAK to share.... :) I received this card from Allison from Stampin When I Can. Allison is such a fun, energetic, talented, creative woman who has always put a smile on my face when I visit her blog. I received a baby thank you card in the mail a week ago. I JUST LOVE THE CUTE BUTTONS!! He... :) (Bunnies too!)

Next, as a reminder Lisa (The Craft's Meow) and Debbie (Debbie P's Place) are setting up a non-raffle for the Australian Bushfire Appeal on Splitcoast, and all donations are going to the Red Cross. Currently they are looking for donations of stamp sets, crafting supplies, lovely handmade craft items, cards, etc. Pop into there blogs for more details. If you are interested in donating e-mail them! I will be getting a donation ready by this Saturday, Feb. 28th.

A Couple RAK's to Share....

Hi blog surfers!! Sorry, about a late post. The Christmas crunch is here and feeln' it!! How about you? I hope you are getting your Christmas list narrowed down and enjoying some holiday bliss... :) It will be a Chai Tea night for me... Yeah! I have a couple lovely RAK's to share with you.

Both cards are from Allison at Stampin' When I Can. Such AWESOME cards... I was just tickled when I opened the envelope to find TWO cards... She made my day! I felt like a kid in a candy store... by DH just smiled! He! :) The Santa card has such a think beard I just love how the liquid applique was done to give a 3-D effect!! The design papers are divine. Allison you are such a peach and thanks so much!!!
