This was a Technique card that we did using "Foil Embossing". What you do is stamp the foil on the back side, using a permanent ink. (She had us use the foil seals off a cappuccino mix... heavier than aluminum!) Allow to dry. Place the foil on a foam pad with stamped image facing up. Using a stylus, etch (draw) around the stamped lines. Turn foil over and you will see a raised image!! How easy is that... check out Julie's SU! web page!!
I have a close up photo of the Foil Embossing for a better look! The stem and leaf is from the NEW SU! catty... Petal Pizzazz. The saying "are the Best" on my Curly Label punch was from SU! It's your Birthday set as I took off the Birthday part! Sneaky right?!?!? :)
Have a great Wednesday and if you have a chance remember to get some stamping time in!!! Smiles....
Michelle :)

What an awesome design Michelle!! Love the middle of that flower!! Such pretty bright colors too!! You have some fabulous stuff on your blog!! :) TFS!!
Such a cute card, Michelle! And, you're right...friends ARE the best, including cyber friends!
Love the technique with the flower. I've seen that before with metal sheets, which I think I bought but never used. This inspires me to get them out and give it a go!
I hope the weather is easing up for you a bit. We are finally getting some cooler temps and rain, so I'm excited!
{Hugs}to you my cyber friend.
What a fun card - the colours, the layout and the foil embossing. And thanx for you lovely comments too - I agree with Lisa - all friends are the best, including cyber buddies! Take care xXx
LOVE this card. I like the bright colors, the foil embossing and the curly label punch for your sentiment square. Thanks for sharing the technique. I may have to try this. But first I have to find someone who drinks cappucino mix.
I love your color choice - work well together. The foil embossing adds just the right amount of pizzaz to the card. You rock as usual.
WOW! I love these bright colors! Such a fun card! ;)
Wow I love your bright colors, I just ordered the combo pack of bold bright paper from SU and can't wait to start playing with it. Now I have some insperation.
SSShhh Michelle ... don't tell anyone that I am visiting when I am supposed to be having a break (on hols)! :) This is such a clever technique! I am going to pinch it for my next Stamp Club technique ... I hope that is ok??? Must remember to buy some tough foil, though! Away for another week ... and won't probably have any internet ... C U when I get back! Hugs, Andrea

Love this Michelle! Fabulous colour combo and the metal embossing is awesome!
Fabulous! What a super cool technique...it adds so much dimension.
I'll have to try this, it looks like so much fun. I love what you did with the tag, removing "birthdays" and replacing it with "friends." The color combo is great, too. Love the style watch "retro" look from the catty. You hit it spot on!
Gorgeous card. Love the colors. Thanks for playing! :)
Absolutely fabulous. I'm running out of adjectives to describe your creations. Hugs, M
