Hello... Archiver's Scrap Fest 2009!!

Hi Everyone!! Don't fall off your computer chair as I'm posting a few cards from attending Archiver's Scrap Fest 2009 this weekend... :) Being I live 2 1/2 hours from the Mall of America I finally had the opportunity to go this year with my stamping friends in the Twin Cities area. It was so nice to visit, catch-up, and do some stamping.

Talk about LONG lines, there were 32 make and take stations and we accomplished 8! So you can tell how long we stood in line. This was a HUGE 3 day event (we only did Saturday) and very fun... plus you could get some good bargain's at the "Saving Spot", a mini store Archiver's had set up.

I have a couple cards to share and as time allows I will post more. The first card was from the Cosmo Cricket booth. It's a 4X4 card and I like how we stamped the sentiment, cut between the letters and wrapped it around the back side of the circle. And roughing up the edges makes it even more fun!

The second card is from Doodlebug Design... I LOVE there DP's and felt brads! Very simple card and the chunky glitter adds so much.

I was so happy to get back home last night and my feet were happy too! Right Jackie and Carmell!?!?! (WINK) ;)

I'm helping my hubby get ready for a hunting trip, taking care of the produce from the garden, and getting ready for a weekend of PEACE and QUIET! Stamping is on my list and I do have cards to show you!

I miss everyone! I will be honest, I haven't done much blog surfing and sure miss being out in blog land. Have a super Sunday evening... SMILES!

Michelle :)

Oh, how I wish I could have gone with you! I love those sorts of events... but I know what you mean about being footsore... and then so long to drive home. Yikes! But it sounds like it was worth it! What yummy cards. I've missed seeing your blog posts, too, but I know you'll be back when you can... and when you are, we'll be waiting!

Hugs and smiles,
Lisa

So glad to see some baeutiful cards again by you! Hope you are doing well. My hubby left on Wednesday for 2 weeks hunting and I have been down and out with a horrible attack of vertigo. haven't been able to make a single card!!! So much for all my awesome plans! I am feeling a little better today so hopefully it is leaving me!

That pumpkin image is scary. Perfect for a halloween card. I like the pretty papers on the second card. I love the idea of those make and takes but crowds of people and standing in line for long periods of time give me the heeby jeebies so I tend to avoid events like that. Glad you had a good time.
