A couple cards to share... from my Stamping Retreat!!

Well, I survived the stamping/scrapbooking weekend!! What fun it was... so much creative energy going and amazing food! I ate way to much... it felt like Thanksgiving two weeks early! Ha.. :) I have a couple cards to share from my weekend and will be sharing more cards when I can post next. If you follow my blog, you know how much I LOVE the SU! TOP NOTE die! I CASE'd a card from Beate Johns blog... but I can't find the actual post to show my CASE.

I kept both cards close in size, shape and colors. I added a SU! Felt Flurries snowflake from last years mini, and the Snowman is a EK punch. (Thanks Diane for sharing!) :) I did some paper piecing to get more of defined image with the hat, scarf and arms. And enjoyed using my SU! Modern Label Punch... :) Cardstock used is SU! Real Red, Chocolate Chip, Kraft and Very Vanilla.

I hope you like... I do! I'm going to finish watching Dancing with the Stars now... LOVE that show! The big night is coming next week... yeah! You know where I will be at. Thanks for popping in for a visit and I so appreciate it. I plan to blog surf sometime soon! Miss everyone!

SMILES... Michelle :)

Wow Michelle, these cards are so rich looking with those colors! Love the design with the top note die. Is that a DP SU real red or did you use a background stamp to create the design on real red cardstock?

I'm having my share of Chai these cold rainy days now, but I also found some great loose leaf tea in a shop in New Glarus which is about 15 miles down the road from me. It's a white chocolate rooibus tea and it's very yummy! In fact, I may have to go back and get some more soon:))

These are such fun cards. I've been pouring over each detail. Love the do-dad in the middle of the snowflake. And these are my current favorite Christmas colors! Reds and browns.

Can't wait to hear more about your retreat. I'm wondering how many cards you actually made! I've been spitting them out one at a time and at a snail's pace.

It's been dreary here, hubby was just in Minneapolis yesterday he said there was lots of sun! Personally, I'm ready for a littl white stuff!
