Jolly Snowman and Get Well Card... :)

Happy Sunday!! Here is one of my Snowman cards I made this weekend and a 2nd card from Julie's card class. It was perfect, Friday with the snow coming down made me think of a bright "JOLLY" card! I used my Nesties, bright DP's and using my Martha Stewart snowflake punches with buttons. I CuttleBug embossed the background and sponged the edges and high spots with SU! Whisper White. The stamp is from Provo Crafts... to cute! :)

Being the snow has come early this year and we still have leaves on the trees we made this fun fall card. Julie had us make a 4x4 card and making a 2nd fold at the 2" mark. Such a quick and easy card to make. When I came home I used my blender pen to fill in the leaves more with Close to Cocoa. And that fantastic Modern Label Punch rocks with the brads!! The stamp set is Autumn Splendor... in the SU! Holiday Mini Catty and Thoughts and Prayers.

Click on the photo's for a closer look! I'm watching football "Boarder Battle"... Vikings and Green Bay Packers... So far so good for us! I also made a large pot of Chicken Wild Rice soup and Pumpkin Mousse for dessert!!!! Yummmm... :) Enjoy your evening and thanks for stopping in for a visit. I always love it when you do... I'm catching up on comments!!

SMILES... Michelle :)

Oh Michelle: I love the BRIGHT Winter card! SO fun! I also love the colors of the fall card, so soft and pretty. That is my favorite of seasons with all the earthy tones! I love how you layered the nesties. I never thought of cutting them in half and elongating them to just frame the sides. Cool look I'm gonna have to try!

What a cheerful Xmas card Michelle! That snowman is hilarious and I love all the bright color you used.

I did take a close-up look of the second card you posted and it's very pretty.

We'll not talk about the Packer/Viking game. I only watched half of it. I was pretty sure of the outcome from the get go. At least I had Housewives and Brothers and Sisters to look forward to tonight. Love the new French guy on Brothers and Sisters. He was on Dancing with the Stars last season. Ooo la la!

Hi Michelle,

how do you plan so many layers??? I love the Christmas card because its so bright and cheery, and I'd love to be organised enough to do something like it.... but I get too stressed if I put more than three layers down!! Eeek... ah weel, guess I'll have to have ago.

Love the folded card too. This is an idea I'm going to have to try (only a couple of layers too LOL). I'll let you see how I go

lots of love

Michelle, very cute cards. I love all of them. That is a very cute and jolly snowman. We got about
17" of snow last week. We were snowed in for a couple of days but it's almost all melted now. Hope you didn't get to much snow. Beautiful cards:)

As much as I love snowmen and Christmas the second card REALLY does it for me! I just love it. Now, I don't want it to sound like I am tooting my own horn, but I do see similarities to a card I made a few weeks ago. I guess that why I like it so much! I was pretty happy with mine, but this one does have a little extra gong for it!

I guess I'll bring out that set again and do a little CASE!

BTW-I'm guessing you liked the outcome of that game?

Also, Chicken & Wild Rice is my favorite! But I'm talking Panera, I've never made my own. If you have a good recipe, I'd love to have it!

That snowman image is so fun all by itself but in combo with the bright colors and fun, patterned paper it's super fun!

In contrast, what a lovely, subdued, autmn theme on your second card. I like the unique fold.

If I had known, Paul and I would have been over in a heartbeat to watch the game with you and eat that yummy food! Did the Vikings win? That's Paul's favorite team. I'm afraid I don't follow football.

And, yes, that snowman stamp is TOO CUTE, as is your darling card! And I LOVE the leaf card. What a wonderful fold technique. I'll have to try it.

So sorry I've been out of touch for so long, but I'm absolutely buried! I can't seem to catch up after being away for one week. What's up with that? I need to retire!!!

Hugs and love dear friend. You're on my list to email this weekend, I promise!
