Mr & Mrs Snowman... :)

Happy Friday!! I can't believe how the week just flew by and the weekend is already here.... :) We had our Grand Opening all week at our new office. Great success and lots of fun. (But some very LONG days!) Here in Minnesota it's the "eve" of Riffle Hunting season for white tail deer, and the area is hoppin' with hunters. Tomorrow I have to pull out the orange jackets and hats for my walks, I don't want to get shot at! Ha... :) We have Cooper ready with his collar... it's the bright orange too.
Enough of my chatting and on to my Mr & Mrs Snowman card!! I thought this $1 stamp was just the cutest from Micheal's and with some paper piecing and using my GellyRoll pen for some sparkles it turned out very nice... I THINK! :) I also doubled up the ribbons, used my EK Wave Border punch, and Snowflake CuttleBug embossing folder. My DP's are from DCWV and KI Memories. Click on the photo's for a close up shot. I love looking at details on cards!!
I'm making popcorn next and settling in for the night. And yes, I'll have a hot cup of Chai tea... very relaxing! Enjoy your weekend everyone and with this fall weather enjoy some crafting time too... it's deer hunting "widows" weekend!

SMILES... Michelle :)

Sometimes it's the simple little stamps that make the best cards! This is certainly an example!!! Super cute job Michelle - and as always your attention to detail is fantastic!

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! I love the non-traditional colors for your winter card. Bravo for stepping outside of the box. I love how you used the $1 stamp...a diamond in the rough. I have seen this stamp before but didn't see much use for it until I saw your card. Great card! As always, thanks for being an inspiration.

Side note: You'll be surprised to find that I have done 3 cards in 3 days...I know crazy for me, huh? Of course, I haven't posted them yet...LOL...maybe Sunday when my company leaves. TTFN!

I absolutely LOVE this card! So beautiful! I love the glitzy scarfs you dressed the snowmen in! Your DP is fabulous and I love all the layers and texture! Beautiful! Isn't fun and stinkie to be a hunting widow? My DH and our crew headed out at 5 this morning to do a little hunting. And it is scary to say, but in Texas, Orange is not a fashion requirement...Eeeck! I hope you enjoy your hunting weekend nice and warm! Here the weather is TOO nice for November being that yesterday it was 80 degrees! Craziness!

Totally enjoying this card - the colors are fabulous, love the snowman with the glitter scarf, and the embossed background. I'm a big fan of layers and snowman and this has both. Thanks for sharing!!

Love the sparkly scarves on your cute snowpeople.

Our hunting season started here a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately, our county decided to allow hunting on Sunday as well as the rest of the week so we get no rest from the shooting. This is the one time of the year I hate living in the woods.

Okay, these 2 snowmen just crack me up! I haven't seen that stamp set in the $1 bin at Michael's yet and believe me, I check it everytime I'm there.

Love your paper choice again!

My hubby is in San Diego with a friend right now, so I'm enjoying some me time (and lots of Chai tea). My grandson will be here tomorrow so I need to get to bed early tonight to rest up:)) I am enjoying these 60 degree temps in November!!! It's almost like I'm still on vacation. I'm going to pop some popcorn and catch up on some missed TV shows online tonight! Enjoy your ME time!!!

This is absolutely DARLING! I L-O-V-E LOVE the colors, and their sparkly scarves.

Okay, now I'm a bit worried about you and Cooper. Be careful out there!!!

Congrats on the Grand Opening at work! It must be good to have that behind you. Sounds like you had fun, though! And what's this, you're looking forward to a stamping retreat weekend? I just remembered that from your other post. Lucky girl! Enjoy!!! I wish I could go with you!

Warm hugs and smiles dear friend,
Lisa
