Warm and rich looking colors!!

Morning! Happy Saturday... :) Last night I "got creative"! I sure hit a dry patch the past couple weeks. But when I checked out Gina K. Organize it Card Sketch at Stamp TV using these BEAUTIFUL Basic Gray Indian Summer DP's... I just had to play along.

I decided to use SU! Pocket Silhouettes, Upsy Daisy and Great Friend to create the images. CS is SU! Baroque Burgundy (yes, I still have it!), Creamy Carmel, Basic Black and Whisper White. Then for the ribbon treatment I use SU! Taupe Grosgrain ribbon and a smaller piece of stitched ribbon over lapping. I did my own border by hand... my days in Graphic Arts kicked in... LOL! :)

I just LOVE this DP, did I say that already... ha! Take a peek at Gina's beautiful cards. She has many more combo's to enjoy!!

If you are getting snow with this big winter storm be safe! Blizzard conditions in some area's... but great "creative crafting" weather, RIGHT!! Enjoy your weekend and the Super Bowl! The commercials are the best part for me... :) Thanks for your sweet comments!!

Edited to add: Check out Ruby 2 Shoes for some "GREAT BLOG CANDY" girls!!! She has such fabulous cards... pop in and take a look... and sign up!

SMILES...

Michelle :)

WOW! Michelle, these are simply beautiful! Love the way you've used your graphics skills to create the border. It adds so much! These would make perfect stamps just like this, wouldn't they?! Maybe you need to create your own line? ;) You Go Girl!

These are fabulous! Thanks for the links to see the Gina K video, along with the link to some fab candy! I am glad I am not in an area that has the possibility to get so much snow, this area wasn't equip to deal with the 7-9" + 4" we got last week. I could only imagine what would happen here if we got THAT much snow! Stay warm with however much snow you get and have fun getting crafty!

Hi Michelle. These cards are lovely. The papers are my favourite colours, so warm and rich, and you've done a great job with them all.

I'm not quite sure when you had the 'dry patch' with your cards, your work is always stunning! :o)

These are such sharp looking cards! I really love the way you used these stamped images!

PS you may want to delete the comment above mine because it's spam. It stinks that there are people out there doing that.

Might have to CASE this. Like the hand drawn border too. Great work!

So pretty, Michelle. Love the hand-drawn frames and the flowers out of the box. I love this paper, too - and made several cards with it this fall.

Oh Michelle ... I have a couple of DSP that I wasn't sure what to do with ... and now I know! These are stunning! I hope you are safe and warm during your winter storms. We are having summer storms at the moment ... almost 2 weeks of rain ... and thunderstorms most afternoons. Our tanks are full ... which is FAB! Longer showers ... bliss! Take care dear friend! Hugs, Andrea xxx
