Valentine.... Cherish!!!

Happy Sunday!!! Hope your weekend is going well... :) Yesterday I got into my craft room, mid-afternoon, and I stood there thinking "I NEED TO CLEAN THIS MESS"!! (Still having Christmas supplies out!) So that's what I did for 3 hours. Very Happy Now! :) Alberta inspired me as she did a full sweep organization over the holidays in her craft room. Check out her blog Alberta's Closet as she has great eye candy to share!!! So that gave me some creative juices to make a card last night using Jen's SFYTT challenge. Play along if you can... and she has a Designer of the Month listed!!!

I found DP's for Valentine cards when cleaning so I picked out 3 to work with. I was very challenge with this card after I started... I must have been tired from cleaning earlier!! LOL!! Anyway, I used my Swirls die, SU! circle punches and cut my hearts out to give a more flourish and dimensional feel. The best part about the card for me is the 3 rhinestones I added! I like the 3 different sizes. He! (A kid at heart!!) TIP: I did stamp "Cherish" before using my CB Swiss Dots embossing folder.

Thanks for the visit and popping in... I hope you enjoy today's card!!!!

Michelle :)

Stamps: SU! Baroque Motifs and A light Heart Paper: SU! Whisper White, Positively Pink, Basic Black, Real Red, DP's (Doodlebug Designs, DCWV, Target $1 Spot) Ink: SU! Real Red, Positively Pink Accessories: SU! 1 1/4" and 1 3/4" circle punches, Sizzix "Swirls" die, rhinestones, dimensionals, stamp positioner, etc.

Wow-zers for sure - this is a stunner of a card. I really like the touch of black - it gives the design such strength. And then there's all the little details.... just gorgeous!

I love this card, Michelle! Using three different papers makes it truly special, plus all the nice touches. I also love the rhinestones... any bling is good with me!

I've had such a busy to-do list this weekend that I haven't had time to stamp... just too pooped. But I still sit in my craft room and fiddle around and watch a little tv. It's fun just to be surrounded by my stuff!

I hope it's getting a bit warmer for you. Bundle up! Have a good week at work...
