This card was inspired by the 2009 Stamp It! Such an awesome magazine with LOTS of ideas... very much worth the purchase my friends! If you look at the front cover... the card at the lower right was my CHASE. Which was designed by Maren Benedict. As you can see I changed the colors, DP, used my Top Note die, stamps are from Pocket Silhouette and Best Yet, and I found some YUMMY American Crafts ribbon in my collection.
The 2nd photo is a close-up look at the layering. I used a 1 1/4" circle punch on the Top Note layer and then stamped my images from Pocket Silhouette on Very Vanilla. Next I took my 1 3/8" circle punch to make the circles a bit larger under the opening. Click on the photo's to get a closer look!! I would love to try this same layout with STARS, FLOWERS, SNOWFLAKES, ETC. Something different and fun... :) Enjoy everyone!
Michelle :)

Ooooh I LOVE this idea - you can really go crazy with it - circles, squares, ovals - and all those different stamp sets to try!!! Hmmm - maybe I should disappear off and give it a go - too late - dinner needs making!!!
I think you've done an AMAZING job on this CASE - it's better than the original for sure.
Big Hugs - xXx
Haven't you been busy! Your cards look AMAZING (as usual!!) :D Amanda
I probably shouldn't say it, but I prefer your card to the original!! It's gorgeous! As you say opens up so many creative ideas for other things. TFS x
Very pretty card! You did a great job aligning the circles.
Love the DP combination. The colours are really cheery.
This card is fantastic! I love the combination of stamp set and papers you used on this!
What a super fun card! I actually like yours better than the original because I think the top note shape is more interesting and I really like your patterned paper choices.
I will have to check for that magazine next time I'm in the big city.
Love the colors and LO! I never think to use punches as windows--TFS. :D
I L-O-V-E love the colors! This is the BEST use of that stamp set I've seen. You sure are getting a lot of good use out of your Top Note Bigz die. I keep forgetting I have one...I have got to pull mine out and give it a whirl.
Seeing your cards and posts and emails ALWAYS makes me smile.
Big hugs,
Lisa
