The first card I used A Good Egg set with both challenges. The CC212 colors were Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip and Riding Hood Red. In honesty I don't have the Pink Pirouette and Riding Hood Red CS, so I used my SU! Candy Lane DP!!! (I cheated and use Ruby Red as my card base!) Next, using the large egg in that set to make the Chicky look like she's "popping out" of the egg!
My second card was inspired by "What will I every do with these cute birds printed on this SU! DP?" So this is what I came up with!! I chalked the birds to give more pop.
I have a couple photo's to share from the storm that went through. We had about 12" and VERY WET snow! Don't you just love the way the trees look? Well, off to see what the pooch is doing and he's itchin' for a walk. Thanks for stopping by for a visit... ENJOY!!
Smiles... Michelle :)

Love your darling chick card!! That egg is so sweet!! :) Love your birdie card too!! What a winter storm you had!! OUCH!! Ours wasn't as bad as yours!! I'm so ready for Spring!! UGGH!!
Oh my goodness, that is one of my fears, sliding around and ending up in the ditch....or worse! It happened to my mom a few years back. I'm lucky, for the most part when the weather is bad I have the option to stay home.
Hubby drove home from central Illinois on Sunday morning and lots of cars were in that predicament. He stopped counting at 20!
I see your mojo didn't suffer from the ordeal. Both these cards are such cuties! I love how you took advantage of the large image on the candy lane paper. I love the two birds facing each other. It's been an idea I've been meaning to CASE!
I don't about up there, but they talking more snow for us this weekend! UGH!
beautiful card. I love that chick. One of my favorites. and your paper piercing looks wonderful. Great job. Stay warm:)
Oh my goodness, it sounds like you've had a bit of a week with snow and ditches! Lovely photos, it all looks so pretty. I LOVE your chick card, it's adorable!!!
Perfect way to de-stress Michelle - so glad you weren't hurt! Your storm may have been nasty but the cards are GORGEOUS - and so are your post storm pics!! We never see snow here - You're probably thinking we're lucky - LOL.
Hope your Spring starts properly soon!! Lotsaluv

I love the paper piercing on the chick card. Both cards are so cute, though it's hard to choose which one I like best!
We got dumped on here too....but I didn't go in the ditch..so scarey! Glad you are OK. It's funny... how much I really don't want snow anymore... but that it truely is beautiful...your photos certainly capture that.
Gosh! You ended up in a ditch? Good thing you are alright.
These are really cute. I really like the chick coming out of the egg. Too fun!
Ohhhh, are these cards ever adorable! Love them both!
12"?! Yikes! Never fear: spring is on its way!
Hi Michelle! Your cards are wonderful and full of mojo, as always! The snow pics are beautiful too. Sorry to hear you went in the ditch and I'm glad you're OK!! I don't mind winter if I can stay indoors and stamp, but driving in it makes me crabby! :) Smiles, Pam
I am so glad you are ok! If it could just snow on the grassy area and not the road areas! We then would live in a perfect world! i love the cards - just to cute!
Your cards are super cute, Michelle...such fun images and beautiful colors!!! That snow storm sounds terrible...you need to fly on down to Texas for the winter...we could stamp the days away and leave all that snow up north!!!!
Oh Michelle, I love both of these cards! Your use of the Candy Lane DP for both is truly inspired! I have got to get my Top Note Bigz die out... you always do such wonderful things with yours. And that Good Egg stamp set is one of my faves.
I can't believe all the snow! That is such the opposite of my weather, it's hard for me to imagine. But it surely is beautiful. I hope you're okay, though... landing in a ditch doesn't sound very good. I think I'd be too scared to drive in the snow. I've been on ice a few times and it's nerve wracking, to say the least! Be careful out there dear girl!

Wow to the snow and wow to the cards--your paper piecing is so sweet! I also love what you did with the birds. As a non-scrapper, I also thought, what am I gonna do with these? Still in my bin, naked and uncut!!
FABULOUS cards Michelle...totally adorable!
Sorry you had a spring storm with all that heavy, wet snow...it's pretty but not nice to get stuck in! Hope you were okay when you hit the ditch! Been there, done that...lol
We have a lot of snow left here...it doesn't get warm enough to melt fast during the daytime...bummer!
Great cards Michelle!
Sorry you got more snow. Have faith, warmer weather is on the way. We've got rain and wind and lots of it. I'm sure you'd trade any day LOL.
Aren't you sick of winter all ready like us up here in Calgary!!!! Enough snow already!
But I love the cards so I think you should take more snow days! If you hit the ditch that just means you didn't get to work so more stamping time! LOL
Great cards! I love your interpretation of the Mojo sketch!
Yikes, what a Winter for allof us. Your pictures are beautiful though! Your cards are so pretty and so cute too!
