Happy Earth Day!! I thought a card made with my Trendy Tree set with some warm colors would be a appropriate for today. I chased this card from Gretchen at Happiness Is as I fell in love with her lay-out. Check it out!I even did some sewing! Added my sentiment using the Framed with a Flourish set. Then white embossed the image on Old Olive CS and did some fussy cutting. I based my colors around the ribbon, which I have a LARGE collection of... my weakness!
Today I'm getting ready for a weekend of Stampin' with 12 gals for 3 days starting Friday to Sunday!!! I can't wait... :) I do this twice a year and it's so much FUN!! I have baking and start packing my totes.

I love this card, Michelle. It is very earthy and comforting - I think the machine stitching adds a wonderful touch.

The first thing I saw on this card was that gorgeous ribbon - the perfect colours for your card!! And of course the embossing is great too - you know how I love my CB! This is jsu sooo right for an Earth Day card - Love it!!

Love this card Michelle.... I like the way the tree stands out, so that's what I'm off to play with now. Thanks for the inspiration. Hope you have THE BEST weekend away...my friends and I only ever manage a day here and there together, but we do so much, and talk and laugh into the night when we get the chance.
Oh Michelle, this is one of my favorite cards ever! You did a fantastic job! I love the way you used the label stamp (perfection!) and highlighted one of the trees, and stitched around the top. Oh baby! It's all good! Perfect ribbon, too!
