A couple cute cards to share... :)

Hello stampin' friends! I have 2 cards to share from Julie's SU! Open House on Monday night to kick off the new catty... we had such a fun time! :) The first card has warm fun fall colors... and we used the Autumn Days set. I added the paper piercing and sponged the edges. Such a fun layout and I know in the new catty there is a card similar to this one.

The second card we used Melon Mambo and Razzle Dazzle set. In my photo it's are to see the embossing which we use SU! Elegant Bouquet embossing folder. IRL it's just darling. So simple but yet such WOW... love the CAS style!

Late yesterday afternoon we had some bad storms go through the area. We lost power for 1 1/2 hours, hail that took down lots of my garden plants and flowers, and some of my shrubs look beat up! No house damage and we ended up with over 4" of rain in that short time! Some areas had over 6" and flooding. No water in the basement, but the pump is running! Better get moving, and THANKS for poppin' in! Enjoy...

Smiles... Michelle :)

Michelle...I love both cards but I like "It's Good to Dream" best! Sorry to hear about your storm...I see on surfing the blogs lots of people are getting flooded...We are expecting a lot of rain today and severe storms..but hopefully no flooding.

Hi Michelle! I'm a bit under the weather right now... caught a stomach bug... but I've risen my my sick bed for a bit to do a bit of catching up with my friends. What cute cards! What machine did Julie use to run the embossing folders? I can't seem to get good impressions with my Wizard.

I can't imagine wacky weather like you've experienced. Around here it's the same, same, same for weeks on end. That's why the news programs get so fired up when there's actually a storm or something to report. Otherwise, it's pretty dull stuff! LOL

I'm glad you're okay, though, even if your plants are not.

Hugs and smiles my friend,
Lisa

Both cards are very nice! Love the new In-Colors, the new embossing folder and the fall set!

Sorry to hear about your bad weather! We had a terrible storm go through on Sunday with loads of wind and rain as well!

For some reason, my blog roll isn't updating when you post :( I love this texture plate, I just looked at it in the catie this morning! And I am SO needing that wheat stamp! It would work so great for our harvest scrapbook layouts!

Lovely cards Michelle. I especially like the paper piercing down one side of the card, it looks really effective. I still don't do enough of that yet! Your pink card is really pretty too, again simple but so effective, love it! :o)

Hi Michelle,

I just got back from a LONG baseball tournament and I'm catching up on the blogs.

First of all, your cards are wonderful! Love seeing the new catty products!

Secondly, I'm glad you didn't have the flooding! I can say with first hand experience from last year, that is a problem you don't want to have! That darn hail, I hope your garden didn't suffer too much.

Hugs!
Shelley

I love the autumnal colors and images of the first card. The embossing on the second card shows up just fine on my screen. It makes for a very pretty card.
