Cards to share from SU! Card Class!

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday to you... :) This past week was Julie's SU! Card Class and I have a couple cards to share with you. The first card is so cute using SU! Mellon Mambo, Chocolate Chip and Close to Cocoa CS. I added the CB embossed panel and flower next to the sentiment. Plus we used a Sale-a-Bration set. This set is on my Wish List!! :)
This 2nd card we used SU! Textured Embossing Plate, new border punch, I {heart} hearts set, and creating an easel card. (I think that is what this style of fold is called?) When I came home I chalked the flowers and stems on the dry embossing. Took a SU! Marker to color in the flower centers. Pretty simple and stylish!

Well, I'm off to make some popcorn and relax the rest of the evening. The weather is pretty nasty here and a Winter storm warning till Monday at 4pm! WOW... gotta love Minnesota. Go VIKING's!! We'll be watching....

Have a great weekend!

SMILES.... Michelle :)

Beautiful job on both of these - I love the way you make them your own! Looks like you have some fun new products to play with!

Oooh, I need to try one of those easel cards! I've heard about them, but paid little attention! Glad you showed the side view, I totally got it because of the picture!

That darn On A Pedestal has been on/off my wish list. Now I may have to get it! Very nice!

I'll be rooting for the Vikings, too! I'm a Steelers fan, but my dad is a Vikings fan and I like Brett Favre.

Have a great day watching the game!

Both of these are so sweet! I love the color combo on the first one and how you added texture with the Cuttlebug background! The second one is so soft and pretty, I love the chalking on the embossed flowers, gorgeous!!!

Hope your storm isn't too bad, stay inside and stay warm!

Your cards turned out so lovely! I love how you take them home and add to them! The texture on the first one really adds that special something and I love the chalks on the embossing on the second! So beautiful. You are very creative!

LOVE the simplicity of the colours... and your usual clean clear cards. I want a couple of punches to match stamp shapes (like the heart you used) because it makes such a crisp look.

Hope you didn't blow away in the storm.... we're waiting for rain!

with love

I like the color of the number embossed background on your bday card. Looks just like chocolate. Love the embossed and chalked flowers on your Vday card. So soft and pretty.
