Ruffly Button Flowers... and Mojo Win!

Hi Everyone! First I have great news... I was a Mojo Monday winner this month! Talk about being very shocked yesterday when I found out my card won!!!!! :) So many "beautiful" cards and I don't know how 7 can be narrowed down out of 500+ entries... I'm doing the Happy Dance! :)
Tonight I had to try Dawn McVey's "ruffly button flowers"... she has a great video tutorial to show you how. They are very quick to make! I used paper from an old Webster Dictionary for the flower... mine didn't get as poofy being the paper is old and thin. I've seen a few bloggers create there own paper by printing copy paper with black type. I did some zig-zag stitching, added a border, rick-rack, and my sentiment is from Hero Arts. The DP's are Pebbles Inc. and Cosmo. CS colors SU! Chocolate Chip, Mellon Mambo and Pretty in Pink!

This card was inspired by one of Dawn's cards... check it out! I like her style, mine is a work in progress! Enjoy your day and thanks for poppin' in for a visit... ME LOVE IT!

SMILES... Michelle :)

Hello Michelle! I love Dawn's card, but I love how you've put your style to it - more feminine and that little more complex - love it!

Wow Michelle! Congratulations! Isn't this your second win?
I love your flower. That is so very cool. I am going to have to try that with my Cricut soon. I think I may photo copy my dictionary and see how that turns out! Beautiful!
