Inspired by Nature... Great weekend!

Hello everyone!! I'm back from a weekend of stampin' fun and getting settled in at home. Such a nice time... great food, great conversations and a variety of weather! (rain, snow and sun!)

This is one of the cards I made over the weekend and I will be posting more this week. I love the look of black and white with a splash of COLOR! I stamped my flowers in Going Gray and cleaned off the centers with a wet napkin. Then taking my Green Galore and Gable Green markers to fill in. Next I took a sponge to blend, huff and stamp! I added Eucalyptus Stickles at the base for more contrast and sparkle... :)

Now a couple photo's of the Wild Rose Inn where our retreat was. Such a beautiful location as you can see horses grazing and deer coming in from the LARGE craft room which is located on the backside of the barn... yes, I said BARN! This is an old barn converted into a lovely fully equipped retreat center. It has a large kitchen table with benches and chairs to accommodate 12 people. 3 levels with a large loft. Very warm feel!! Each bed has it's own hand sew quilt. This center can be used for quilters also.

The craft room! Awesome lighting and large windows. :)

Thanks for poppin' in for a visit and have a super day! We'll chat more soon... ENJOY!

Stamp and SMILE! Michelle :)

Boy, you didn't waste anytime posting once you got home! This card is a beauty! Until I looked at it closer and read the post I thought the flower centers were Flower Soft. Very striking! The retreat looks wonderful. Sounds like you had a very good time. I could use a good retreat now!

Hey you! I'm so glad you had a wonderful time. How could you not, staying at such a pretty place with kindred spirits doing what you love??? With rain, snow and sun thrown in for good measure, you definitely have variety!

Your card is awesome. I love Kiwi Kiss, and it looks awesome with black and gray. The green flower centers really make this card pop. Can't wait to see the rest of your weekend treasures.

So happy to hear from my smiling friend.

Lots of hugs and love,
Lisa
