2 More... Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #23

I couldn't resist making two more cards using Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #23!! This is a first for me, making 4 cards on one sketch!!! In my last post I mentioned I wanted to try this sketch using the Trendy Tree set. Here it is! Very simple, no extra frills, but has some punch! (Size 6 1/2"x 3 1/4")

On my second card... the size is 7 x 3 1/2" so I could fit the smallest Nestie Label One die, 5 times! I started picking through my scraps of DP to put this card together and that's how I came up with the colors. I took my SU! White Gel pen to doodle around my sentiment, added white pearls in the flower centers, and added a button to my bow. Not sure if I like this card, but sure is GIRLY!! :)

This is the first I have been on the computer since my last post... LOL! I have LOTS of e-mails to surf through tonight. The hubby's playing soft ball, so I can relax and have a cup of chai tea!! Have a super evening my stamping friends!! Thanks for poppin' in for a visit... :)

SMILES... Michelle :)

More wonderful cards with this sketch - and I can't even manage ONE - LOL. Love the Trendy Trees - so good for everyone, and lovely natural textures and colours! And then there's the gorgeous pink/green one - some beautiful DPs there, and the little flower accents - gorgeous!
Hope you're having a wonderful week!

Hi Michelle, these are both lovely cards. Isn't it interesting how the difference in colours almost tricks the eye into seeing different card patterns altogether!! Love those trees, that has to be my favourite, but the other one is such a chance to show off some beautiful DP....and how neat you can be putting it all together!! Wish I had time to play (holidays soon... one more sleep!)(but who's counting??)

Michelle: I love how you can use the same sketch every time, but still have the card look completely different, fresh, and beautiful! I love the second card with all the different punches and the first with the paper piercing! Fabulous!

WOWZA! Great cards. Love your color choices on both. I'm particularly fond of the Autumn card because those are my favorite class of colors and my favorite season. Great job on the sketch. Well done!

They are both so nice! I do LOVE Karen's sketch this week! I especially like the pink and green card and how you doodled around the sentiment. The flower strip is so pretty with those pearls. That card really does make me smile!

Oh my goodness! I love how different each card is with the same sketch!
Your trendy trees card is fabulous with those colours and you know I LOVE that stamp set ;)
Your second card is so soft and pretty with those wonderful designer papers!

I really like the Trendy Trees version. That is one of my all time fave sets. The colors are terrific. And how fun that you used the nesties shape on the second card and used patterned paper instead of stamping. the flower border with pearls is a terrific accent.

Another fall card! I'm going to cry with yearning for the fall and cooler weather. We're in the low 100's today. Yipes.

Both cards are wonderful. I love that Trendy Trees stamp set, and this is a perfect way to use it. And how clever to use the tiny Labels die to cut the squares for your "girly" card... I don't think I've ever used any of my smallest Nesties!

Smiles and hugs,
Lisa

But I also love the Trendy Trees one as well, this is a set I've been wanting but just haven't purchased yet. Both of these are fabulous!
