CC222... Happiness!

Hello! I want to thank everyone for the SWEET comments with me being selected as one of MoJo Monday Winners this week! Truly warms my heart and so very appreciated... I still can't believe it! Tonight I'm picking out my new stamp set... Tee! (I feel like a kid in a candy store!) :)

I want to share my CC222 (Color Challenge at SCS). You had to use white as your card base and that being the ONLY LAYER... adding any colors you like. So I decided to dig into my bag of misc. punched images... I can't toss anything! LOL! So I found these two flowers, added the button, and used my scallop circle Nestie to create a fun embossed border. In the photo it's hard to see, but I sponged Tempting Turquoise behind the flower.

Enjoy my stamping friends and have a super Friday coming up very SOON! We have a busy weekend but I will be posting! (A girl needs some blog time to R&R!)

SMILES... Michelle :)

Stamps: SU! Heard from the Heart Paper: SU! Whisper White Ink: SU! Tempting Turquoise, Real Red Other: EK flower punches, button (Wal-Mart), EK Border Wave Punch, Ribbon (Target Club Wed), Nestie, Sponge, CB embossing folder (Tiny Bubbles), glue dots, etc.

Beautiful card Michelle! So now we are doing cards with the same white background? I would start freaking if your's would have been a Xmas card too. Congrats again on the Mojo win. I put my order in yesterday already and got a notice before the end of the day that they were in the mail.

Are you doing the 4 card Verve challenge on Splitcoast? They are giving away the whole new release to the winner at the end of this month. Sweet prize!

Way to remember to emboss, not cut! I love this card. So simple and so cute. Your petals are very beautiful with the texture on them. I don't currently have the tiny bubbles, but I think I am seriously going to have to look them up! I always have issues purchasing punches like the flowers in multiple sizes due to storage, and then I have to remind myself I bought a cricut 2 yeas ago, I SHOULD us it more... and after seeing your nested beautiful flowers, I think I just might HAVE to use it! TFS and the inspiration!

That embossed section looks like another layer. What a clever way to spruce up a one layer card. I haven't been able to master that technique. I try to emboss but part of it ends up cutting through. I also save all my punchies - just in case I migt need them. But not only do I use them I don't even always remember where I stashed them :-). Good for you for using yours.

This is so pretty Michelle... simple, but with the pop of color that just really catches the eye. I love how you embossed the card base around the flower... and embossed your flowers, too! Sweet!

I hope you're having a fun weekend, whatever you're up to. I'm headed off to my craft room now that I'm all inspired by my afternoon blog surfing!

Love and hugs,
Lisa
