Hi Everyone! Well, there has been some busy things going on in my life lately and I'm sorry to say blogging is going to be put on the side for awhile! I'm so sad about it, but I have to put life first for now. I'm going back to work full-time and started training today! In the future my hours will be reduced to part time, but as of when and how many hours this is unknown. This all came into play this past week and I had to make some decisions over the weekend on what I need to do to keep this schedule going. I will blog hop when I can to see all your "lovely" creations, and if I do get a chance to post I will. I understand if you choose to unsubscribe as this is why you come to visit to SEE A CARD! I understand 100% on why... I'm going to miss you lots, and you are all in my hearts! Thank you SO MUCH for all the sweet comments I have gotten over the months from everyone! That is what kept me going.... SMILES!
Michelle :)
Happy Friday! This past week I was at a SU! workshop and we made this beautiful Christmas card. I like how we took the image and crumpled the card stock. Also if you notice the sentiment... we didn't ink the "MAS" to have the word "Christ"!! How cool is that! I added the swirl background and CB Mesh embossing. The second card was from Julie's card club a while back and realized I didn't share it! I added the MS snowflakes and silver pearls! I won't be posting till next week... traveling over the weekend here and and few other loose ends to take care of. ENJOY! Have a super weekend yourself... SMILES!Michelle :)Stamps: SU! Heard From the Heart, Holy Triptych, Christmas Punch Paper: SU! Creamy Carmel, Ruby Red, Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Whisper White Ink: SU! I can't resist SU! Razzleberry Lemonade design paper.... I love how the DSP coordinates and very versatile patterns! I decided to use some of my scraps, pulled out my Jumbo Stampin' Wheel, apron boarder punch... and the retro flowers! Pretty simple and quick... something I'm sure we all can use! It's getting late here and today we had Alex over as it was his 9th birthday today... he was really excited. We had DQ cake and guess what he requested to eat for supper... corn on the cob! So that's what we had and a few extras. :)
Thanks for popping in and may your day be happy and bright stampin' friends!

Well, I must confess... this card I have been working on since this morning with LOTS of interruptions! All intentions to post this morning and here I am now... better late than never I guess! :)
I had this layout in my head and this past week I received my Razzleberry Lemonade DSP and Melon Mambo paper and ink pad. So I had to play with my NEW toys... *wink*! The DSP does the work for you on this card and I just added the butterflies, sentiment and yellow gingham brad. I jazzed up the butterflies with rhinestones and wire.
The photo shows my yellow pretty bright. I used Summer Sun as I don't have all the in-colors. But it looks nice IRL!!
Now Lisa who is such a "sweet heart" from The Craft's Meow, mailed me this amazing RAK (Random Act of Kindness) along with "2 stamps" from her big "Grand Prize" winnings from The Greeting Farm and Club Anya !! I was on Cloud 9 when I opened the package and seen what was inside. Thanks SO much Lisa for sharing your winnings and I can't wait to make a card using these CUTE images!! She always takes good care of me!! :)
Hope you found time this weekend to enjoy the weather, family & friends and STAMP! I'm behind on my commenting so I haven't forgotten about you!! I'll be popping in soon... :)

Happy Friday!! Can you believe the weekend is here? This summer sure is going fast and it won't belong and school will be starting. As promised here are 2 more cards from Julie's Card Club. The first card is prefect for a kids birthday card... or that adult that is "a kid at heart!!" :) We used SU! punches and jumbo wheel. The second card is a Sunflower!! Tis' the time of year for them. For the sunflower center we used In-Color Soft Suede with embossed dots and sponged over to give more texture. Then we used the Scallop Oval Punch for the sentiment being scallops are a focal point on this card... PERFECT MATCH!! The heat it on here in Minnesota and a cool down by Sunday. I'll be happy then... ha! Enjoy the cards today and I'll get my butt in my craft room to stamp... LOL! Thanks for visiting and keep cool!! Have a super weekend... ENJOY!SMILES... I want to share a card from Julie's Card Club Monday night... I just LOVE it! I didn't assemble the card completely at class because I wanted to add the Divine Swirls to my background and sponge the edges of the letters! It really gives more contrast and the swirls give the feel of a fall day of colorful leaves and wind. Which I'm ready for!! :)
A pretty easy card which Julie always has cute, simple and stunning in mind! :) We have 90's here and high humidity for the next few days. Summer is starting now... LOL! Well, I better think up something for supper and see what Cooper is up to! Enjoy everyone and thanks for stopping in to say "HI"! I'm catching up on my blog comments... :) Plus I'll be posting a couple more cards that Julie had for us.

A couple Clean & Simple cards to share!! I seen the Ten Minute Monday post and just fell in love with this card... so I decided to give it a try with my DP's that are so unloved lately! Do you ever have that issue? I have a lot of single sheets that don't have coordinating paper, because I think I have to HAVE them! :)The first card is for fall that's around the corner. I followed the double button idea and embossed a row of dots with my CuttleBug. Then embossed my sentiment. My second card I used chipboard flowers, added a gold pearl next to my sentiment and LOVE the DP with the rich chocolate in the background. Very easy peassy cards!! :)Tonight I have Julie's Card Club and she just got back from convention! Can't wait to see her swaps... FUN!Enjoy and have a super Monday!SMILES... Michelle :)

Happy Sunday morning everyone! Hope your weekend is going well and enjoying the August summer weather... :) Last night I decided to check out the Clean & Simple blog and came across the Fall-To Layout #51 and you know how I LOVE the SU! Top Note Die... so I decided to give it a try! I used my larger scaled DP in my stash. Plus the fun bright colors I just enjoy so much. The flower is a sweet touch... using my small oval punch to make my leaves!! Find some stamping time today and "thanks SO much" for the visit. It's always a treat when you do... ENJOY!!SMILES... WOW, 2 challenges and "ONE" card... and both challenges are for Sunday!! That is a nice day to stamp, but I guess Thursday night will just have to do... ha!To start off I used Lisa's Challenge for a Sunday Afternoon that was to make a "thinking bubble" on your card. What a "FUN" CHALLENGE Lisa!! I tied in the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge for my lay out. What was so nice is I used scraps of DP's in my stash which is such a nice treat! Going green... :)On my last post, this card, a few questions were asked on how I got my image to look beaded up. My Upsy Daisy set is new and I have the old SU! markers so when I inked up the stamp with the markers and huffed on the stamp it beaded. This is how I got that effect... I need to sand the rubber to take the ink better. But I do like the look it gives!!Sweet dreams everyone and off to bed I go soon... my P.J.'s are looking for me... LOL! Enjoy and thanks for popin' in! Make time to stamp!

Can you believe it... I made a Mojo Monday Challenge card and it's Tuesday! WOW, whats up with that... LOL! :) I decided to use my DP for the colors and the challenge to get me going.I did some faux stitching, and sponged most of the edges with Creamy Carmel to give an aged look. On my Upsy Daisy flowers I used my markers to ink up my stamp and used a sponge dauber to blend the colors. Being it was a new stamp it wanted to bead the ink up, so I used my Poppin' Pastel Chalks to fill in. Plus I used my CB folders for more texture! Thanks for poppin' in and I ALWAYS love your visits! Enjoy...SMILES... Michelle :)Stamps: SU! Upsy Daisy and Hero Arts Paper: SU! Close to Cocoa, Very Vanilla, Kraft, Old Olive, DP (We R Memory Keepers) Ink: SU! Did you miss me? Sorry for having such a long absence... we had an unexpected funeral today so when we came home later this afternoon I knew I had to get in to my craft room. Also last night I posting 15 more items on eBay and didn't have much time to stamp.
My first thought for this card was to use buttons for the flowers, but realized I didn't have any colors of my DP. So I found my flower rhinestones and took a shot at putting this layout together. Being I've been in the fall mode I wanted to use more spring and summer colors to mix it up a bit!! The second card is from Lisa at The Craft's Meow who started this FANTASTIC challenge called.... Challenge for a Sunday Afternoon!! I played along and WON the prize for that week.... she was so nice to give me the card she made for herchallenge which was to use any items you have on your craft table that can be added to your card!
