Time to share from Card Club... :)

I want to share a card from Julie's Card Club Monday night... I just LOVE it! I didn't assemble the card completely at class because I wanted to add the Divine Swirls to my background and sponge the edges of the letters! It really gives more contrast and the swirls give the feel of a fall day of colorful leaves and wind. Which I'm ready for!! :)

A pretty easy card which Julie always has cute, simple and stunning in mind! :) We have 90's here and high humidity for the next few days. Summer is starting now... LOL! Well, I better think up something for supper and see what Cooper is up to! Enjoy everyone and thanks for stopping in to say "HI"! I'm catching up on my blog comments... :) Plus I'll be posting a couple more cards that Julie had for us.

SMILES... Michelle :)

Stamps: SU! Forest Friends Paper: SU! Close to Cocoa, Whisper White, Dusty Durango, Crushed Curry Ink: SU! Close to Cocoa and Markers Other: SU! Ticket Corner Punch, CuttleBug Divine Swirls folder, scallop edge punch, sponge, Jumbo Eyelet, etc.

Lol, Michelle, you do the same thing I do when I go to stamp camp. I come home and finish my cards, adding my twist to them so I can call them my own:)) Adding that swirl embossing is just perfect for this card as is the sponging that I always like to do around my letters, images and sentiments.

Our temps have been pretty nice and the humidity not bad the last few days. I hope it keeps up one more day as we are going to the State Fair tomorrow. I am not going to try the new frozen chocolate bacon on a stick though! Like we don't have a bad enough reputation for our diets here in WI...we need that all over the national news..ha ha!

Love the extra bits you did to your card - makes it extra special!! We had our first hint of Spring weather today - I turned the heater off and opened to windows - it was marvellous!!!

Oh Michelle ... I am soooo jealous of your weather. I am excited ... only 2 weeks until spring! I am so over winter ... but I know you will laugh when I say that ... because it doesn't even get cold enough here for snow!!! Our winters are so mild compared to yours. So ... perhaps I should stop complaining!!! Hugs, Andrea xxx

Michelle, this is great---how were the letters cut out? Diecut? I am too lazy to look up the catalog to see if they were in there. What a fun fall card!

As always your cards are just so unique. I love this fall card. I love all the work you have put into this. Great job.
Summer has actually just arrived this week even though it should have started in May!
Love the card!

I love the fall card... but am not anxious for fall! Where did summer go?

The swirl background is a perfect compliment to your fall theme. And what a fun idea to substitute an image for one of the letters of your title.

Oh, goodness, this is a stunner! Good call to emboss the main panel... really gives it an extra kick, as well as sponging the letters. And I love the way you stamped the tree!

I can't believe it, but we are actually having a fairly mild (comparatively speaking) summer this year... knock on wood. Hopefully this doesn't mean we'll have a hot fall, because I'd really be bummed!

Hugs and smiles,
Lisa
