So Refreshing... a Valentine!!

It's so refreshing to post a Valentine card! (Ver's Christmas) On Sunday I did have time to stamp and feeling much BETTER!!! Thanks for the well wishes and I'm excited to get back into my routine... if there is such a thing... LOL!! I'm still catching up, but I just take it day by day. Mark (my dear hubby) is getting plans/sketches drawn up for making me a few storage units and shelves for my craft room. This will be a winter project, so when it's completed I'll show you photo's!!

I had a chance to use my Top Note die for this Valentine card. I just love the DP from Cloud 9, plus it was my first time using SU! A Happy Heart set which is out of the Holiday Mini Catalog. Such a fun set! I cut the hearts out, tied sheer ribbon around, and used dimensionals to create some depth, also popped the Top Note layer. ENJOY!!!

Have a great Monday and if you are still on Christmas vacation.... get some stamping time in!!! Stamp on.... :) Thanks for the visit and chat again soon!

Michelle :)

Stamps: SU! A Happy Heart Paper: SU! Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Real Read, DP Cloud 9, DCWV. Ink: SU! Real Red, Positively Pink. Accessories: SU! Top Note Die, Ribbon, SU! Silver Brads, Dimensionals, etc.

Hello there my dear cyber friend! I'm sorry to hear you've been under the weather. That is no fun! And here I was thinking you weren't blogging because you were doing so much Christmas celebrating. Achoo!

This card is ADORABLE! I am definitely going to get started with Valentine cards so that I'm not hopelessly behind like I was for Christmas. Maybe I should start next year's Christmas cards now! LOL

We're making headway on the Winter Cleaning. I'm looking forward to getting that over with so I can concentrate on cardmaking and get back to my scrapbooking and maybe some quilting, too. I just wish sleep were optional!

How fun to fix up your craft room! I can't wait to see pix. Maybe I can get Paul motivated. Ha ha.

Take care Michelle!

Hugs, Lisa

Sweet card Michelle! Sorry to hear you got hit with the Christmas bug! I call it that because so many people have been sick (my hubby and I incl.) over Christmas. Sometimes I think we push our bodies so much before the holiday that it flat out protest when the day arrives!
