Celebrate YOU!!!

Happy Saturday everyone!! Well, spring is on my mind and this is what I came up with today. I decided to use butterflies, SU! "Springy" colors, and I made a knot in the ribbon for something different! The layout I followed is on page 64 in the new "Stamp It" magazine. I changed it up a bit, and LOVE the cards in this years issue! I hope you enjoy... :)
Yes, I did a bit of sewing on my card! I had to do it twice as the first time it was BAD... need I say more? Ha... Any big weekend plans? I'm catching up around the house, and hubby is enjoying the outdoors. I'm getting into the spring cleaning mode, and plan to venture on cleaning our bedroom closets... major overhaul and long over due! Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping in!!

BIG Smiles...

Michelle :)

Just beautiful! I really love the springy colors. I also wanted to share with you that my hubby found that scallop stamp I liked so much on the card that you sent me on ebay and surprised me and bought it for me. It is still unmounted and everything. I got it in the mail yesterday and hope to play with it tomorrow. Whoo-hoo! Thanks for the inspiration!

When you're done at your place feel free to lend me some advice on how to get mine done - LOL. A major clean up is on my list too!

Gorgeous card - love the subtle colours - and the butterflies!

This card looks great. The stitching turned out great. Love the spring colors! I love how your extra jute looks like the antenna on the butterfly! I ordered this die set, but it is on back order and I am still waiting! I love that you used the medallion stamp. I have it and don't use it enough! Hope you enjoy your spring cleaning.

Hello Michelle! What a lovely card - I can't believe the attention to detail in it! Really well done - my cards tend to be simple because otherwise they look messy! Not something you suffer from!

Bright, spring-y, sunshine-y and FUN. Great combo of textures and colors.

Spring cleaning? It still feels like winter around here since we've had very little melting so far and still have over a foot of snow in our yard. My fave spring cleaning thing to do is wash the windows. Ok... I said that wrong. I actually don't love washing the windows but I love having clean windows. Especially in the spring to let all the light in after a dreary winter. I wash my windows at least 3 times a year.

You clever, clever girl! You managed to get everyone of the butterflies from the embosslit on the card. It looks so springy!!! I think my favorite part is the circle nestie over the Medallion stamp, though. Very nice!

I'm on my lunch hour and had to pop in and say hi and tell you that I MISS you!!! Where ya been lately? I'm guessing you're getting settled in at your new job AND getting all sorts of wonderful spring cleaning done. When you're finished there, can you fly out here and help me with mine????

What a super cute card, Michelle... sunshiney and happy, just like everything you do. I LOVE that butterfly embosslit, don't you? I have tons cut out and ready to go. So fun to mix and match. And cool knot, too!

Now on to see the rest of what I've missed while dealing with the dreadful RAT race...

Love and hugs sweet girl,
Lisa

Oh I need to overhaul my closets in the worst way. Have a lot of cleaning and getting rid of to do, so I can get into my studio space. Hope it comes together soon.
Have a great weekend.:)
