Happy Thursday!! Tonight I have 2 cards to share from Julie's SU! card class. The first card is using the SU! Vintage Vogue and Very Vintage jumbo wheel in the mini catalog. Close to Cocoa, Blush Bloom CS and punches for the sentiment. I added the mini white pearls.
The second card is using the technique "Stamping with Sweetened Condensed Milk" which was in the latest Stamp It Magazine! O'boy... by the time the group was done embossing the place smelled like a candy factory! (warm caramel smell) Such an easy way to give a unique effect to any card... and vintage! You stamp your image with sweetened condensed milk, sprinkle a "PINCH" of embossing powder over image and heat emboss! The sugar is what turns brown and the embossing powder adds more image details... The set we used is a NEW SU! set coming out in the next mini catalog for spring.
Enjoy!! Are you watching the Olympics? I have been when I can. Thanks for popping in for a visit and truly enjoy it.... have a great evening!!!
SMILES.... Michelle :)
Happy Friday! I hope you are keeping warm with the BIG snowstorm in some areas... so far we have only had a couple inches. And it's warm, 30 right now! Sorry for my absence this past week. But, I do have a card to share using those CUTE puffy flowers in blog land. Also my card is CASE from Dawn McVey. I changed the colors, added Swiss Dots embossing, different border and used my SU! Modern Label punch for the sentiment. SO FUN and EASY!
I just put a Take n' Bake pizza in the oven! Yummm... :) Enjoy your evening and thanks for popping in for a visit!! I'm loving all the inspiration in blog land... SMILES my stamping friends!!

Hi everyone! How is your weekend going so far? Today I was in the mood to share a card that "shouts spring"!! Need that right now and I love the butterfly look lately. The embossed back ground is chalked, the sentiment is from Verve, which I die cut from my circle Nesties, and added a couple butterflies with silver 1/2 pearls. I like the ribbon treatment... very easy and not bulky to mail!
I'm catching up on blogging now, and hope to finish a bit more tonight. The sun is shinning and the temps are warmer, but not far above freezing... LOL! Enjoy your Sunday and crafting time... I hope to do that to! Thanks for taking the time to stop in...
SMILES!

Morning! Well, today I have a card using SU! Heart Treat Cups!! This was one of the cards we made at Julie's card class last week. FUN and we used the new Sale-a-Bration border punch "Scalloped Trim". I added the gingham ribbon and silver 1/2 pearls from Michael's. I plan to give this card to my Niece and Nephew for Valentine's day. Being I send more candy with the card in a padded envelope, and with the card being this thick it will work out perfect... :)
Any big weekend plans? I'm working on end of year paper work to get ready for tax time. Plus I'm going to sneak off to my craft room sometime to get creative and surf blog land. I'm missing out I'm thinking... ha! Enjoy your weekend, thanks for the visit, and keep a smile on!!!!

Morning and Happy Friday everyone!! The weekend is finally here... :) And time to post a card. LOL! I like how this card turned out... :) I used a sentiment from my Verve set "Floral Symphony" and fun DP that matched an EK flower punch so well! I had to try the new SU! Butterfly Embosslits... those MINI butterflies are SOOOO cute! I sponged the edge of the punched flower for more depth.
We may have a warm up this weekend! (normal temps for this time of year!) So that will be nice. Busy weekend, but I will be posting again soon! I have a fun card using SU! heart shaped cups... :) Better run... thanks for popping in for a nice visit and hope you enjoy! Miss my blogging friends...

Hi Everyone! First I have great news... I was a Mojo Monday winner this month! Talk about being very shocked yesterday when I found out my card won!!!!! :) So many "beautiful" cards and I don't know how 7 can be narrowed down out of 500+ entries... I'm doing the Happy Dance! :)
Tonight I had to try Dawn McVey's "ruffly button flowers"... she has a great video tutorial to show you how. They are very quick to make! I used paper from an old Webster Dictionary for the flower... mine didn't get as poofy being the paper is old and thin. I've seen a few bloggers create there own paper by printing copy paper with black type. I did some zig-zag stitching, added a border, rick-rack, and my sentiment is from Hero Arts. The DP's are Pebbles Inc. and Cosmo. CS colors SU! Chocolate Chip, Mellon Mambo and Pretty in Pink! This card was inspired by one of Dawn's cards... check it out! I like her style, mine is a work in progress! Enjoy your day and thanks for poppin' in for a visit... ME LOVE IT!SMILES... Michelle :)
I can't resist SU! Razzleberry Lemonade design paper.... I love how the DSP coordinates and very versatile patterns! I decided to use some of my scraps, pulled out my Jumbo Stampin' Wheel, apron boarder punch... and the retro flowers! Pretty simple and quick... something I'm sure we all can use! It's getting late here and today we had Alex over as it was his 9th birthday today... he was really excited. We had DQ cake and guess what he requested to eat for supper... corn on the cob! So that's what we had and a few extras. :)
Thanks for popping in and may your day be happy and bright stampin' friends!

Hope your weekend is going well and enjoying the August summer weather... :) Last night I decided to check out the Clean & Simple blog and came across the Fall-To Layout #51 and you know how I LOVE the SU! Top Note Die... so I decided to give it a try! I used my larger scaled DP in my stash. Plus the fun bright colors I just enjoy so much. The flower is a sweet touch... using my small oval punch to make my leaves!! Find some stamping time today and "thanks SO much" for the visit. It's always a treat when you do... ENJOY!!SMILES... Can you believe it... I made a Mojo Monday Challenge card and it's Tuesday! WOW, whats up with that... LOL! :) I decided to use my DP for the colors and the challenge to get me going.I did some faux stitching, and sponged most of the edges with Creamy Carmel to give an aged look. On my Upsy Daisy flowers I used my markers to ink up my stamp and used a sponge dauber to blend the colors. Being it was a new stamp it wanted to bead the ink up, so I used my Poppin' Pastel Chalks to fill in. Plus I used my CB folders for more texture! Thanks for poppin' in and I ALWAYS love your visits! Enjoy...SMILES... Michelle :)Stamps: SU! Upsy Daisy and Hero Arts Paper: SU! Close to Cocoa, Very Vanilla, Kraft, Old Olive, DP (We R Memory Keepers) Ink: SU! Did you miss me? Sorry for having such a long absence... we had an unexpected funeral today so when we came home later this afternoon I knew I had to get in to my craft room. Also last night I posting 15 more items on eBay and didn't have much time to stamp.
My first thought for this card was to use buttons for the flowers, but realized I didn't have any colors of my DP. So I found my flower rhinestones and took a shot at putting this layout together. Being I've been in the fall mode I wanted to use more spring and summer colors to mix it up a bit!! The second card is from Lisa at The Craft's Meow who started this FANTASTIC challenge called.... Challenge for a Sunday Afternoon!! I played along and WON the prize for that week.... she was so nice to give me the card she made for herchallenge which was to use any items you have on your craft table that can be added to your card! Isn't Lisa's card just darling? I LOVE the lace and bright red!! Pop in for a visit and check out her challenges... she has Mr. Linky so we can all share!! :)Thanks for popping in and taking a look... Hello everyone!! I had this card made, but no time to post it... LOL! Such a COOL morning in Minnesota! Very different for July weather as we usually have 90's and high humidity!
On to the card now... I'm getting into the fall color mode and using my Nestie Labels die again as my focal point. I decided to use my retired SU! River Rock for my card base. Also added yellow Stickels to the flower tops which is from the set Inspired by Nature... LOVE IT! And finished with a fun ribbon treatment, ver's trying a bow.
Thanks for stopping in and taking a look at my creations... it's such a pleasure to share with you all!! ENJOY... and chat soon!

LOL! Sunny summer weather!! We had NO sun today, but thought my cards would bring a bit of joy for today. The cards are pretty cut and dry, which is what I like about them. Morning everyone! How is the weekend going so far? The weather is gorgeous!! I didn't have time to stamp last night so I decided to make these CUTE Binder Clip holders this morning. I purchased LARGE black binder clips at OfficeMax a while back. (12 clips per box.) I seen this idea at a local boutique, ThistleBerry, and just fell in love with them... also I looked on SplitCoast for a link but didn't find one. I know this idea has been around the SU! world!! :) The punched images are on both sides of the clip so you can enjoy from front and back!! (attached with a couple demensionals.)

I took a close up shot of each one. Click on the photos for a closer look! I used my stash of scrap DP's, scraps of cardstock, used my punches, stamps, ribbon, etc. to create these cuties! You can use them for holding photos, recipes, notes, stamped cards, bake sale prices, place cards, etc. I put the Birthday Celebrations on one of them to show you what something attached would look like.Have a fabulous weekend and stamp the day away!! It sure is hard this time of year to do that... LOL! Thanks for poppin' in for a visit and enjoy...

Wow, it's been a week since I stamped a card! The 4th of July was very nice and all went well. Nice to get back into a routine now. I even cleaned my craft room as that is where my niece and nephew slept. So it was very nice to stamp last night in a clean room... don't you feel refreshed when getting organized!!
Anywhoo, on to the card! This card was inspired when we did a bit of shopping over the weekend. I seen a framed print I just loved and came up with this idea for a card. Giving it a soft serene feel, using my Top Note and border punch. And you know how I enjoy butterflies!! Which I did the Rock'n Roll technique.
I traced around the butterfly and filled in the flowers with my Sakura Gelly Roll pen to give more sparkle. Click on the photos for a closer look. The weather is gorgeous here in Minnesota. Nice cool nights and bearable heat during the day time. Enjoy your day my stamping friends and think summer fun!!

Happy Monday morning!! This past weekend I had the chance to shop at Archiver's and with the goodies I purchased I wanted to make a card using a couple things. My new items are the QuickCuts Embossing Folder "Plants" and the "Apron Lace" border punch by Fiskars.I picked out my colors, embossed my image and using my Poppin' Pastel chalks to color in the image. Then finishing off the card by adding a very vanilla panel using my Top Note die and new border punch for some added detail. Plus I LOVE this ribbon... which I have no idea where I picked it up!? :)Just a note! With the July 4th weekend coming and we have company coming my posting maybe very sparse!! I hope to post one more time before the weekend, but if I don't have a super 4th of July!!!Enjoy your day, stamp your heart out and be safe if you are traveling!! Thanks for poppin' in for a visit...
