July cards to share!!!

Hi everyone!!!! Don't be shocked it's me... how has your summer been? It's hard to believe it's half over and seeing school supplies in the stores already. I have a few cards to share with you that I made "on the fly" for special occasions and from the SU! card classes I attend each month.

This last card is the cutest! You can imaging the conversations we girls had when making this card at class!! That is what warms my heart... having time with stamping friends. :) I have 2 more posts lined up to follow. Thanks for stopping in and I know it has been a while.

Just me again!!

Hi everyone! Did you have a great Memorial Day weekend? Sure went fast, but I enjoyed the time we had and the yard work we accomplished! The weather for both Sunday and Monday was very nice. Tonight I have a few more cards to share with you.
My first card was a CASE from Lynn Put at The Queen's Scene this was the first time I used my SU! butterfly punch.
The 2nd card was from Julie's card class and we had so much FUN using the SU! punches to create this cutie!! I added the embossed background with some sponging on the high spots.

The last card is a spin on a few card ideas out of the new Paper Crafts "Card Creations" magazine. Using punches and scraps of DP's... always nice using those little pieces up. :) Enjoy your evening! Thanks SO much for visiting and all the sweet comments... now I'm off to blog hop... see you in a bit! :)

More to Share!! :)

Hi again!! :) Here is another set of cards! My first card was inspired by Dawn McVey at My Favorite Things. She has such fun ideas and layouts! Love the clean lines... :) The 2nd card was a layout I followed from Lynn Put at The Queen's Scene... She is so creative... and I enjoy butterflies! The Mother's Day card was made at Julie's Card Class. We used the SU! Two Step Bird punch to create the flower bud! We punched 3 wings for each flower. How clever... :) My last card is also from Julie's class... Fun DP's!! I decided to give my card this ribbon treatment... popular lately! I hope you enjoy and thanks for popping in.... your so kind!

Keep Stamping and BIG Smiles....

Time to Share!!! :)

Hi everyone! Yes, I'm alive!!! :) Life sure can get busy, but that is what makes us strong and patient! I had many requests to share my cards from friends, bloggers and club gals that I thought it was time to share... finally! Some of these cards have been mailed or hand delivered, but I did take photo's!! Smart thinking... right! Ha :)
I love this color mix and DP... the square scallop edge I used my scissors to match up the comers! Not to bad a job I might say... :)
Fun layout and I enjoy the Cupcake theme going on!! The ribbon and pearls were the perfect touch to this card... :)

My 3rd card was from Julie's Card Club... what fun! I enjoy the SU! embossed BG... I sponged the high spots with Close to Cocoa to make the image pop!
Enjoy!! I had a great time at my retreat weekend the end of April and at Julie's classes. I have more to share and will post another bundle of cards soon... I hope you are enjoying your spring! We sure had some HOT temps this week... to fast for me! I like to ease into hot summer weather... LOL!

Keep stamping and many SMILES... Michelle :)

SU! Heart Treat Cups!

Morning! Well, today I have a card using SU! Heart Treat Cups!! This was one of the cards we made at Julie's card class last week. FUN and we used the new Sale-a-Bration border punch "Scalloped Trim". I added the gingham ribbon and silver 1/2 pearls from Michael's. I plan to give this card to my Niece and Nephew for Valentine's day. Being I send more candy with the card in a padded envelope, and with the card being this thick it will work out perfect... :)
Any big weekend plans? I'm working on end of year paper work to get ready for tax time. Plus I'm going to sneak off to my craft room sometime to get creative and surf blog land. I'm missing out I'm thinking... ha! Enjoy your weekend, thanks for the visit, and keep a smile on!!!!

Two Gift Card Holders...

Hi everyone! :) Well, here I am posting my "Weekly" post... LOL! I can't believe how time just doesn't allow for posting lately. I feel so bad! I like to share what I have and feel not like a team player lately... SORRY! The two cards I have to share tonight are Gift Card/Money Holders which I made for 2 teens. (Boy and Girl)
Both cards I used DP scraps, added ribbon, used my large SU! snowflake punch layering them up with circles and buttons! Simple layout, but with different colors, DP's and ribbon you get 2 different looks. Each snowflake has Stickles added for some sparkle... click on photo's for a closer look!
On my second card I used SU! Creamy Carmel to sponge the edges of the DP and snowflake to give a bit of a vintage look. On the inside of each card I have a flap folded up which is held by 2 brads. Just tuck the money or gift card in the pocket... and you have a "fun creative" way to present a gift!! I hope I have inspired you!! ENJOY, and have a super weekend!!

Think Christmas... SMILES!

Happy Halloween!

And what a perfect card to share with you from my Monday night card class with Julie... :) I'm excited for Halloween even though we had 2" of snow yesterday and it's still staying... LOL! But this afternoon it's warming up, so I'm sure it will be gone before the kidies get out and enjoy the ghoulish evening! :)

The sets used was SU! Autumn Harvest and Pocket Silhouettes, and yes the Top Note die! (one of my FAV's) We did some paper piecing and using the Modern Label Punch for the cute Happy Halloween sign. I added more sponging around the edges and the paper piercing.

My hubby was busy last night so when I came home from work I quick got a few chores done and then in my craft room I went! Being it snowed yesterday I had to make a snowman card. I will share that next and I have 2 more cards from Julie's class too.... stay tune!! :) Enjoy your day stamping friends... have a SAFE evening!!

Finally, a couple PUNCH cards to share with you!!

Finally, a post! Right... :) Sorry for my absence. Last week we moved our office to a brand new location (VERY NICE!) and I had some LONG days into the evenings working. And over the weekend was my catch up. On Sunday it was such nice weather I was working in the yard to get a few things winterized. Pulled bulbs, cover the A/C unit, washed a few windows, shrubs, etc. Now only if I would have giving Cooper a bath the day would have been complete... ha! He's still smelly and very hairy! In a couple weeks he goes in to have his "Spa Day" which includes a bath, trim and cutting his nails.

On to the cards.... I understand this card design was in the SU! Demo Magazine. The 2nd card is what we made at Mary's SU! workshop in September. I had so much fun making it that I made another card with pink and pumpkin pie tones.

This card is perfect to up-selling your SU! punches... and what an amazing cards a girl can make
with punches... WOW! I did use some non-SU! decorative edge scissors I own on the ice-cream bowls. And added some CuttleBug embossing in the back ground.

Well, off to bed I go! I wish everyone a warm Minnesota SMILE!! And a day full of colorful fall leaves... 'tis the season! He... :) Thanks for popping in for a visit. I haven't blogged much in over a week. All the comments I do receive I do return the favor and let it be known I have not forgotten about you!!!!

Hugs and SMILES!

Happy Firday!! :)

Happy Friday!! Can you believe the weekend is here? This summer sure is going fast and it won't belong and school will be starting.

As promised here are 2 more cards from Julie's Card Club. The first card is prefect for a kids birthday card... or that adult that is "a kid at heart!!" :) We used SU! punches and jumbo wheel.

The second card is a Sunflower!! Tis' the time of year for them. For the sunflower center we used In-Color Soft Suede with embossed dots and sponged over to give more texture. Then we used the Scallop Oval Punch for the sentiment being scallops are a focal point on this card... PERFECT MATCH!!

The heat it on here in Minnesota and a cool down by Sunday. I'll be happy then... ha! Enjoy the cards today and I'll get my butt in my craft room to stamp... LOL! Thanks for visiting and keep cool!! Have a super weekend... ENJOY!

Binder Clips...Enjoy!!

Morning everyone! How is the weekend going so far? The weather is gorgeous!! I didn't have time to stamp last night so I decided to make these CUTE Binder Clip holders this morning. I purchased LARGE black binder clips at OfficeMax a while back. (12 clips per box.)

I seen this idea at a local boutique, ThistleBerry, and just fell in love with them... also I looked on SplitCoast for a link but didn't find one. I know this idea has been around the SU! world!! :) The punched images are on both sides of the clip so you can enjoy from front and back!! (attached with a couple demensionals.)

I took a close up shot of each one. Click on the photos for a closer look! I used my stash of scrap DP's, scraps of cardstock, used my punches, stamps, ribbon, etc. to create these cuties! You can use them for holding photos, recipes, notes, stamped cards, bake sale prices, place cards, etc. I put the Birthday Celebrations on one of them to show you what something attached would look like.

Have a fabulous weekend and stamp the day away!! It sure is hard this time of year to do that... LOL! Thanks for poppin' in for a visit and enjoy...

Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #23... Join in!!

Hello, stamping friends!! Last night I decided to play along with Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #23. When I first looked at the sketch I was kind of taken... hummm! Then a few things came to mind. On my first card I wanted a FRESH & SUMMERY look... because the heat is on here! This card is pretty much all SU! but the rhinestones which I purchased at Michael's and the wave border punch is from EK. I LOVED making these flowers with sponging the edges and curling the petal tips with the bone folder. :)

For my second card I decided to use the Darling Dots set and going lady-bug style!! Behind the black ribbon I added a Real Red panel that was CB embossed to give a tone on tone effect and some texture. It's hard to see in the photo. Again all SU!, but the CB embossing and black stitched ribbon. I just might try another card using the Trendy Tree set... with fall colors! The weather is warming up and I'm thinking fall... LOL!! (can you tell I'm from Minnesota!)

Enjoy your day ladies (guys too!) I'm working on the invites for the township gathering. Keep your summer smiles on... :)

Enjoy... Michelle

Party Hearty... Froggy card!!

Hello everyone!!! Today I have a card to share from my April stamping retreat that I forgot to post. This "Cutie Patootie" frog is so fun to play with... don't you think?

I started with bright colors for a kids b-day card, CB embossing my yellow cardstock, layered up the frog and adding a "Swirl" coming out of this mouth... he,he! I acutely took the SU! Swirls Scribbles die to get this effect. I added some paper piercing and used my circle punches to create "rings" for more fun!

Make a Wish... with Western Flair!!

Morning!! Wow, it's been 3 days since I posted and the longest I've went! I hope everyone is enjoying this fantastic LONG weekend... for my US bloggers that is! Yesterday my hubby and I did get quite a bit of work done in the yard... and by mid-afternoon I took Cooper for a nice long walk. When coming back I picked up the mail and guess what??? My newest issue of Paper Crafts was in my hand.... life is good! Talk about everything falling in place for a nice stamping afternoon with some new inspiration!! :)

Now I must confess, this card is not inspired from my new Paper Crafts magazine, but from Debbie at Thinking Inking! I good friend of mine, Diane which we had a fun "field-trip" to some craft stores this past Tuesday, e-mailed me Debbie's card to show me the Top Note edges at the bottom of her card. We looked into how this was done. You place your DP or cardstock on the long side of the Top Note and send it through part way and back it out... pretty cool!! I like the Western Flair... I just had to try this technique as I'm CRAZY about the Top Note die!! (can you tell from my cards I post!!) :)

Take a look at the card I CHASED!! I change it up a bit, but still used DP from Cosmo Cricket. Love those buttons, a great way to use them up!

I want to share a photo of our flowering Crab Apple Tree north of the house. It's just gorgeous!! The hummingbirds and bee's are VERY busy... and the smell is sweet! Enjoy my stamping friends, and thanks SO much for the visit!! Have some stampin' fun... :)

Smiles.... Michelle :)

SFYTT and DRS Designs... Wild Side!

Hi everyone!!! Hope all is going well where you are at... :) Can you believe I made another card using Jen's SFYTT challenge and this cute monkey from DRS Designs ... that the SWEET Susan from Susan's Day off Creations mailed me stamped images of... It's the little girl in me! Pop in for a visit as I know Susan would enjoy it... :)

This time I turned the layout, different colors, cut the "michelle" monkey out for more of a 3-D effect and added a party hat. That sentiment is so fun and I worked off my DP for the colors this time. Check out my first card using this monkey!!

Click on the photos for a closer look! You can see how the monkey is popping off the card... ready to PARTY!!

I can't wait for this coming weekend as we have 3 days... to enjoy gardening, grilling, walks, sleeping in, and STAMPING!! Yes, I'm taking one of the 3 days to enjoy my passion... he! :)

Have a super evening ladies (gentlemen too!) and thanks for stopping in for a visit.... Love it when you do!! Enjoy...

Yesterday I decided to play with the colors from CC218 and Jen's SFYTT challenges. First off the CC218 was Susan's creative idea!! Which is using Kiwi Kiss, Summer Sun and Only Orange... FUN! My DP matched perfectly to the Kiwi Kiss color, and creating a banner look for the sentiment. No ribbon, I'm so proud of myself... instead I added the large yellow brads.

Have a super day stampers and enjoy!! Thanks SO much Susan for the fun "surprise" in the mail!! Visit her blog for some FABULOUS inspiration!! I have another idea to try with these every SO cute monkey images!! Stay tune... :)

MoJo Monday 78 Challenge... Finally!

Ok first, I suggest you put your "SUNGLASSES ON" for this card!! LOL! I tackled the MoJo Monday 78 challenge and wanted to make a kids birthday card being I found a scrap of DP in my pile with lots of BRIGHT COLOR OPTIONS!! That's what younger kids like... right? :)

To start I stamped a row of party hats used SU! Party Hearty set. Then I used the Cuttlbug for the embossing in the background, added my DP, paper pierced around the edges and added the red grosgrain ribbon. The rest is pretty basic with stamping my cupcake images, on Whisper White CS and cutting out individual pieces to give a 3-D effect. I ENJOYED using my Scallop Circle punch around the Celebrate You which fits perfectly at the bottom of the rounded panel.

Click on the photo's to get a closer look! Have a super Sunday ladies (and gentlemen) and I hope you have some time to create today!! Thanks for the visit! Enjoy... now you can take your sunglasses off!
