Happy Spring!!!

Hi Everyone!!!! Sorry for the long span on not posting... and for the kind e-mails to see if I'm OK. Yes, I'm doing great!! In February I started a new job and truly enjoy it! I'm trying to find a balance with home and work, and didn't have much luck the past two weeks! From the little things that had to be done, work, and a few unexpected weekend ventures it's been busy. But, who isn't! So I'm alive and kicking! All is well and Saturday evening I finally STAMPED!!! (I told my hubby if there is no emergency "I'll be LOCKED in my craft cave!!"... ha!)
Now the card... with spring staring this weekend, I figured a butterfly card would be perfect. I received my SU! Beautiful Butterflies die a few weeks ago and it was screaming for some LOVE! With picking out my DP's first I worked my colors and layout from that point. SU! River Rock, Real Red and Whisper White choice of colors, Swiss Dots embossing, sentiment is by Stampendous and DP's by Cosmo Cricket and Pebbles Inc. The cluster of buttons was a fun add-on!!

I plan to keep posting a couple times a week, but time will tell! I have lots of comments to follow-up on and I promise I will!! You are my inspiration... SMILES!

Michelle :)

I wonder if we will get it this year? Hope work is going well ... and that you will soon find a little more time to stamp! Happy days, Michelle! xxx

Morning Michelle
Glad to hear you are OK! Your card is awesome and inspiring. I haven't been able to work on cards for weeks so I too, am looking forward to that this week. Time for those Spring time cards. The card you sent me is on an easel in my bedroom. I see it every morning when I wake and it means so much to me. Thank you again! Blessings, Mary

First off, I have missed your posts and was glad to see a new one! Second, thanks for the comment on my blog. It always brightens my day to see that you have looked at and like my creations. And third, I am LOVING this card! I am so glad spring is coming with nicer weather! (67 here today!) Your colors are fabulous and I really liked the button cluster. I love how you added the extra embellishment to the border punch with a little paper piercing. Very creative!

Wow Michelle! This is adorable!! Love the buttons and how you used the one to add feelers for your super cute butterfly. Clever!!! Hope your spring is as nice as ours is so far. We did have a bit of snow last weekend, but it melted in a day. I'm still drinking my share of Chai, although the other day it was so nice I had an iced green tea instead:))

Super fun combo of patterned papers and colors. I like the buttons as another point of interest.

And speaking of butterflies, if you have checked out my blog recently you have noticed that I bought the Flight of the Butterfly and Inpsired by Nature sets and have been using them a lot - all because of you. You have made so many great things with them I had to buy those sets myself.

I know about busy too. Besides my regular job, I've also started another part time that I work on my days off and I've been preparing taxes at night. Doesn't leave much time for stamping so I feel your pain.

I LOVE this card!!! I can't believe it's been this long since I last popped by your blog. For shame! From now on, whenever I see butterflies, I'm going to think of my sweet friend Michelle!!!
