Tart & Tangy...

Hi everyone! I received my Tart & Tangy set this week and deiced to CASE (Copy and Share Everything) one of the sample cards in the NEW SU! catty on page 126.

My 1" circle punch worked perfectly around the orange image (which can also be used as a lime or lemon!) And then taking my 3/4" circle punch to layer up the centers! I changed the colors by using Eggplant Envy (retired), Old Olive and Close to Cocoa. For the sentiment I decide to use the Jumbo Oval punch and add a flower with a silver pearl.

Cute and simple card! Have a Happy 4th of July weekend my stamping friends!!! Enjoy... :)

SMILES... Michelle :)

Stamps: SU! Tart & Tangy, Short & Sweet Paper: SU! Eggplant Envy (retired), Old Olive, Very Vanilla, Kraft Ink: SU! Eggplant Envy, Old Olive, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip Other: dimensionals, silver pearl (Michael's), SU! Punches (1", 3/4" circle punches, jumbo oval, Tri Flower) Fiskar's Apron Lace border punch, CB Swiss Dots folder, ribbon SU! (Taupe), etc.

I would have never thought to use any color other than orange, green or yellow with this stamp, but it looks awesome in purples and brown. I like the dimension of the different layers on the fruit too.

Love this card. I was debating on whether or not to get this stamp set. I just might have to now that I've seen your card. I love the colour of your card stock too. Too bad it's retired :(

Pure luciousness, Michelle! I especially LOVE the colors. You've done it again!

Greetings from hot (and now humid) AZ... it's monsoon season and the rain just started, along with thunder and lightening. So, not only is it 95 degrees at 10:00 pm, but it's humid. How much fun is that? I know you wish you were here. hee hee

I'm finally getting a chance to blog surf and catch up with my friends. These past couple of weeks have been crazy and stressful. But now I can (hopefully) relax for a few days. Drop me an email when you can.

Love and hugs,
Lisa

Hi, I don't know if you will get this but I stubbled across your blog this evening and have spent a good few hours ooo-ing and ahhh-ing over the amazing things you have done. To say you have inspired me is an understatement! I live in the UK and although we have SU! now, the range is limited and we can't get everything you have in the states. I can see now that I NEED to invest in a bigshot machine and the big notes die! How have I managed to live without for soooo long! Lol. Thanks again for you amazing contributions to the crafting world. I have had a really wonderful evening reading your blog. Thanks for taking the time to share, Jemma x

I wanted to pass on a link that I just came across that I thought you might like. It's for different ways to use the top note die. And I know how much you like that thing! Check out this blog post
